LSU’s PFF grades are out from the Tigers’ 13-10 win over Western Kentucky, and they paint a familiar picture: the defense carried the day. LSU held WKU to just three points and 152 total yards, with Ja'Keem Jackson, Dashawn Spears and DJ Pickett leading another dominant performance from the young secondary.
Offensively, it was a different story. Two young tackles — Weston Davis and Carius Curne — surprisingly graded out at the top, while quarterback Michael Van Buren struggled in a game where LSU managed only 13 points against a CUSA opponent. We dive into why the offense sputtered, what the PFF numbers really say, and how the Tigers can improve moving forward.
We also take an early look at the opening betting line for LSU vs. Oklahoma, and what oddsmakers think about the Tigers’ chances heading into the final stretch.
On today’s show:
• Defensive grades dominate again
• Standout performances from Jackson, Spears & Pickett
• Van Buren’s tough outing explained
• Young tackles Davis & Curne trending up
• LSU’s offensive concerns heading into the finale
• Early line vs. Oklahoma and what it means
