Using sexually explicit images to blackmail someone, is now a felony in California. A bill signed by the governor last week broadens the state's legal definition of extortion to punish a crime where, according to the FBI, teenage girls are most often the victims. KCBS, KPIX-5, and Chronicle Insider Phil Matier says both the victims and perpetrators are usually kids.
