Former New York Giants and 2x Super Bowl champion (XXI, XXV) quarterback Phil Simms came a long way from his high school career at Southern High School (Louisville, Kentucky) to the CBS pregame show The NFL Today. Recently, Simms got In The Trenches with Dave Lapham presented by First Star Logistics to discuss his life growing up in Kentucky, how many teams offered him a scholarship in high school, his journey from Morehead State, his workouts leading up to the 1979 NFL Draft, playing for the New York Giants, and head coach Bill Parcells.
