    • A West Philadelphia mother and her boyfriend have been found guilty of third-degree murder in the death of her 4-year-old son three years ago. The jury, though, acquitted the pair of the more serious charge of first-degree murder.
    • A woman has been arrested and charged in connection with two suspected arsons last month in the city's Cedarbrook neighborhood.
    • E-scooters remain illegal on Pennsylvania roads, but lawmakers say that clearly the ban is not working, as they’re everywhere. Supporters of a compromise bill that cleared the State House Transportation Committee Monday are hopeful this could be the one.
    • In an effort to reduce overdose deaths, New Jersey lawmakers are working on legislation that would put Narcan on light rail trains, like the River Line.
