Police have identified and arrested a suspect in connection with a rape that took place early Friday morning in Rittenhouse Square. KYW Newsradio’s Hadas Kuznits has an update.

Three years ago, a 5-year-old girl vanished from a park in Bridgeton, Cumberland County. On Friday evening, there was a rally in that park to make sure people don't forget about Dulce Alavez.

Philadelphia police officers who are out on patrol this weekend will work longer hours than usual in an effort to slow down some of the gun violence in the city.

Police are investigating the possible sexual assault in Rittenhouse Square of a woman in her 20s around 1:30 a.m.

Each of the two buildings that collapsed Wednesday just a short time apart in different Philadelphia neighborhoods, had numerous prior L&I violations. 

Montgomery County officials have released the names of three law enforcement officials who were hurt during bomb squad training on the grounds of SCI Phoenix on Thursday.

Family and members of the community are holding an observance Friday night in South Jersey’s Bridgeton City Park, where Dulce Alavez suddenly and mysteriously went missing three years ago. The search for the girl, now 8 years old, is far from over.

Police in Philadelphia are required to put in more hours to beef up the department's efforts to fight gun violence in the city this weekend. All patrol officers on duty will have to work an extra four hours from Friday to Sunday. 

The two buildings that collapsed on Wednesday just a short time apart in different Philadelphia neighborhoods each had many prior L&I violations.

Philadelphia officials have extended the deadline to appeal new property tax assessments. Homeowners now have until Oct. 14 to apply for what’s called a “first-level review.”

Three Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies were hurt in an explosion during a bomb squad training exercise Thursday at State Correctional Institution-Phoenix.

The School District of Philadelphia will be overhauling the offerings at three neighborhood high schools to prepare students for jobs in high-demand industries. The schools will aim to get students ready for jobs right after graduation.
