Human remains have been located in the Germantown area where police centered their search for the missing Kada Scott.
Our partners at NBC10 cite police sources who say the female remains were found behind the abandoned Ada Lewis Middle School near the Awbury Arboretum.
The remains are apparently no older than a week. They have not been identified yet.
Police originally searched the Arboretum on October 10th, but didn't find anything.
Philadelphia’s District Attorney pointed the blame at city judges for not keeping defendant Keon King behind bars while awaiting a hearing in an armed kidnapping case earlier this year.
King has been charged with kidnapping of 23-year-old Kada Scott — who has been missing for nearly two weeks now.

Six people are recovering following a reported shooting involving two rival motorcycle gangs at a Wawa in Montgomery County last night.
It happened shortly after 9pm at the Wawa on West Main Street in West Norriton Township, police say.
Officials say the injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
At this time, police say it was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The man accused of shooting and killing another man at a Center City SEPTA station yesterday (FRI) is facing murder charges, according to police.
Authorities say it was just before 7:30 yesterday morning when police found 27-year-old West Philly resident Sied Ali-Young in the City Hall Broad Street Line station, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was taken to Jefferson Hospital, where he died of his injuries just a few hours later.
27-year-old Dawiz Idris Munson, of the city's West Powelton neighborhood, surrendered to police with a gun later that day, according to officials.
He is charged with murder and related offenses. A motive hasn't been released yet.
