***** Message to 4000 songs ****

Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Today is a truly special day for me, and I am delighted to share some wonderful news with all of you. On this crisp and beautifully clear autumn morning, the Piano Manyoshu has reached a remarkable milestone—its 4000th composition. This is a moment I could only dream of when I began this journey a decade ago. Day after day, I have created a new piece of music, and to stand here today, at this extraordinary juncture, is something I owe entirely to the love for music and the support and encouragement of each and every one of you. For that, I am deeply grateful.

The 4000th piece is titled "Has Not Love's Whisper Evermore Been Ceaseless." This name carries a profound sentiment—the infinite and enduring power of love and its gentle whispers that resonate within our hearts. As I composed this piece, I found myself reflecting on the past ten years: the moments, emotions, and sounds that have shaped this journey. The melody is tender yet tinged with melancholy, embodying a quiet passion that flows beneath its tranquil surface.

The melody is tender yet tinged with melancholy, embodying a quiet passion that flows beneath its tranquil surface.

The number 4000 is more than just a figure. It represents 4000 days of persistence, countless trials and errors, and an abundance of gratitude and joy that have defined my path in music. The creation of this piece feels like more than a milestone; it’s a testament to believing in the power of music and the resilience to keep moving forward.

I am filled with happiness to share this landmark composition with listeners across the world today. My hope is that, when you listen to this piece, it brings you a moment of peace, warmth, and quiet introspection—a spark of something special amidst the rhythm of your daily life.

Would you join me in celebrating this milestone? Take a moment from your busy day to pause and let this music guide your thoughts. Let it be a gentle light that colors your day. And as this journey continues, I look forward to sharing even more music with you, step by step, note by note.

To everyone who listens, thank you from the bottom of my heart. The story woven by this music is one that will continue, and I am honored to walk this path with you.

<< TODAY'S CREATION MESSAGE >>

Saturday, November 23, 2024. A beautiful autumn morning with a clear blue sky stretches above. The crisp air and tranquil atmosphere of late autumn create the perfect backdrop for today. This morning, I released a new piece titled "a dream remembered in a dream." It is the 3,997th composition in my Piano Manyoshu project. With this, there are now 539 pieces left to reach my goal, marking an 88.12% completion rate. Each day, one step closer—it’s a journey filled with meaning and quiet determination.

"A dream remembered in a dream"—the title itself speaks of fleeting beauty, a vision both familiar and elusive. This piece attempts to capture the feeling of déjà vu, where reality and imagination blur into one. It is a soundscape that gently explores the intersections of past and future, reality and fantasy, inviting the listener to reflect on what lies hidden within their own hearts and memories. My hope is that this music stirs something deep within you—something you may not even realize is there.

This piece was created for those seeking small moments of comfort in their everyday lives. Its soft, dreamlike melodies are meant to soothe and offer a sense of calm, adding a touch of serenity to quiet mornings or restless nights. Let it play in the background as you go about your day, or sit down to fully immerse yourself in its gentle rhythms. Perhaps the notes will awaken memories or emotions long forgotten, drawing you into a world of reflection and wonder.

Each listener will find their own meaning within this piece. For some, it may evoke cherished memories, for others, wistful longing or a spark of hope for what lies ahead. Whatever it may be, that meaning is yours alone, and I feel honored if my music can serve as a bridge to your own personal story.

Please take a moment to listen and let this piece accompany you on your journey through the day. May it add a small but meaningful layer of beauty to your Saturday, and perhaps even inspire you to dream a little more. In this soundscape, I hope you’ll discover not only music but a path to your own inner world.

This is the 3,998th piece in the collection, leaving 538 compositions to go until the goal is reached. As of today, 88.14% of the journey has been completed.

"but when those meek eyes first did seem." There is a quiet, profound beauty in this title. It evokes the fleeting yet unforgettable moment when a pair of gentle eyes meets yours, revealing a depth of kindness and inner beauty. Through this piece, I sought to capture that brief yet profound miracle—an instant of connection rendered in melody. With its tender harmonies and delicate tones, this composition is a soothing presence, gently drawing out emotions buried deep within while offering a sense of calm and serenity.

This piece is for anyone longing to find a moment of peace amid the busyness and noise of daily life. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, in need of a brief pause, or simply wish to reconnect with yourself, I hope this music becomes a companion for those moments. Let its gentle melody flow through your surroundings on this crisp autumn morning, and allow it to stir the memories and thoughts resting quietly in your heart. I hope that listening to this piece will bring warmth to your heart and perhaps even inspire a sense of gratitude for the simple joys that surround us.

Please take a moment to immerse yourself in this music. I would love to know what visions, feelings, or memories it awakens in you. Through this composition, my wish is to bring a touch of calm and beauty to your day, enriching it with the quiet, profound magic that only music can provide.

<< TODAY'S CREATION MESSAGE >>

Friday, November 22, 2024. A wonderfully sunny autumn morning has begun. The clear skies and crisp air bring a refreshing sense of renewal. On such a beautiful morning, I’m delighted to present today’s piece: “you stood before me like a thought.” This is the 3996th composition in the Piano Manyoshu series. With only 540 pieces remaining to reach the goal, the progress now stands at 88.10%. Watching the numbers decrease one by one each morning fills me with a sense of quiet anticipation and gratitude.

This piece is an ode to those fleeting moments that stir the soul—a sudden flash of inspiration or a faint memory that appears before you, vivid and yet elusive. I sought to express this mysterious and comforting feeling through the piano’s gentle tones. The presence it embodies is quiet, yet it resonates deeply, leaving a lasting impression. Through this music, I aimed to give voice to those thoughts and emotions that are often difficult to articulate.

On this crisp autumn morning, perhaps something will quietly rise to the surface of your mind. If this music can accompany that moment, offering a soft, supporting presence, I would be truly honored. This piece was created to be a bridge between unspoken emotions, forgotten memories, and subtle hopes for the future. It doesn’t demand a special occasion—just a moment in your daily life when you might pause and let its sounds touch your heart.

"Standing before me like a thought"—the concept itself is ephemeral, yet deeply personal. How this resonates with you will depend entirely on the moment you hear it. My hope is that each listener will discover their own unique landscapes and emotions within the music.

Please take this piece with you as you move through your day. Let its notes paint a picture in your mind, and allow yourself the freedom to journey through the world it creates in your heart. I hope it brings a small, meaningful moment of inspiration to your life.

<< TODAY'S CREATION MESSAGE >>

Thursday, November 21, 2024. A slightly overcast autumn morning, with a crisp chill in the air that feels refreshing against the skin. The quiet atmosphere unique to this season envelopes the world, and today, I am delighted to share a new piece of music with you. This morning’s release is titled “as whom I long had loved before so deeply had I been beguiled”. It is the 3,995th piece in my Piano Manyoshu project. With just 541 songs remaining, the journey to the goal has now reached 88.07%. Each day that brings me closer to the finish line carries the profound weight of time woven through the music.

This particular piece seeks to touch upon emotions that are often too delicate to put into words—those subtle, deeply buried memories that linger in the corners of the heart. It evokes the moments of meeting someone who profoundly changes you or reliving the gentle stirrings of the soul. It is inspired by those fleeting yet powerful emotions that resonate in life, moments so ephemeral and precious they seem to transcend time itself. Through this work, I sought to give shape to those moments, crafting them into a melody that invites quiet reflection.

On days when the sky mirrors a clouded heart, I hope this piece can offer a small glimmer of light and warmth to your spirit. Within the melody, you may find threads of the past, present, and future woven delicately together. It carries a nostalgic undertone, yet hidden within is the potential for new discoveries. I invite you to listen, to embrace the emotions that rise to the surface, and to uncover the stories that emerge within your own heart as the music unfolds.

If this melody brings even a hint of solace or a touch of richness to your day, that alone would bring me immense joy. Let this be a song you can turn to on quiet mornings, one that gently fills your space and time with a sense of calm. I hope it becomes a small yet meaningful part of your day.

What will this music awaken in you? That is for you to discover, with your ears, your heart, and your imagination. I hope you’ll take a moment to listen and let the melody find its way into your world.
