We attended Dapper Day and theDapper Day Expo at Disneyland this weekend. We even stayed at theGrand Californian Hotel!

We dressed to impress as DapperBuzz and Jesse on Saturday and Dapper Woody and Bo Peep on Sunday.The weather was nice at Disneyland and we had a good time lookingat all the well dressed patrons.

We went to the vintage inspiredDapper Day Expo at the Disneyland Hotel Convention Center. Therewere great Vendors there like SideCCA.com, Unique Vintage, Rad BowTies by Xoelle.com, A few Pomade pawning barbers, the danceteachers from Atomic Ballroom in Irvine, and the Retro Flea MarketDrivingMizDaisy.com from Mission Viejo.

PiCast Episode 22 - Guns n Roses n Britney

You’re in Vegas Baby!!

Scott and Brittany spent the weekend in Las Vegas seeing Guns N’ Roses and Britney Spears and the 22nd episode of the PiCast is all about it. Hear our review of the shows as we talk about Scott’s Leather G’n’R’ Jacket that’s older than Brittany.

We talk about the 6 to 7 hour drive each way to Vegas with G’n’R on the way there and Britney on the way back. There is some comparison between G’n’R and One Direction (you have to listen to get that).

Did you know that the Britney show in Vegas was A Cosplay event? We didn’t.

Also, we talk about Vegas in general and buffets, gambling, and the High Roller. We talk about the rain and the Carnival court flair bartenders too.

PiCast Episode 21 - WonderCon 2016

Scott and Brittany recap their weekend at WonderCon 2016 in LA. We cut back this con from3 days to 2 and yet there was the same last minute Con Prep stress! We talk about having to put all your stuff on a Bell cart at the Sheraton and how the alternate title to this episode is “I'm not carrying your Sh*t!”

We talk about Scott’s shameless promotion of the PiCast with Ribbons, Easter Eggs, and Scavenger Hunts.

Our Cosplay this year was Howard and Bernadette from the Big Bang Theory and Dr. Horrible and Penny from the Singalong Blog.

PiCast Episode 19 - The Ultimate Pi Day Wedding

Can you believe it has been a year since our Ultimate Pi Day Wedding!? That's we came up with the name PiDayCosplay and the PiCast! On the eve of our first anniversary Scott and Brittany talk about our ComicCon themed wedding.

We start with the audio of our surprize engagement at the Nerdist SDCC show at the Balboa theatre with Chris Hardwick, Matt Mira, Jonah Ray, Kyle Clark, and CM Punk. Then we talk about how we chose the date based on our Pi Day adventure in 2014 wearing Be Irrational T-shirts at Marie Callender's.

So, what happens when you pick your wedding date and you are already behind schedule? We’ll tell you. We discussed a Top Gun themed wedding at the Lafayette in San Diego. Hear how we got bumped to a different venue by Ringo Starr.

We talk about the ComicCon theme, our cake, the centerpieces, and invitations.

PiCast Episode 18 - Universal Studios and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Grab a Butterbeer and relax as we tell you the tale of our trip with Brittany’s brother Jordan and Sister Taylor to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood. We got in before the official grand opening April 7th! The crowds were light we got to test out the attractions as Universal prepares for the Grand opening.

Have you been to Pottermore? What is your Hogwarts House?

Scott is Slytheryn, Brittany is Hufflepuff, Jordan is Ravenclaw and Taylor is UNKNOWN.

Hear about the Forbidden Journey, Wand shopping at Olivander’s and Frozen vs. Regular Butterbeer. Do you have your house Robes? The merch was a little pricy. Maybe Scott’s sister can make some robes for us!

Next door to Hogsmeade was Springfield and Simpson’s land! Had a Lard Lad Donut.

We took the lot tour tram and saw the SCARY shark from Jaws and a pretty long tangent on the Fast and Furious Franchise.

We also talk about the Animal and Stunt show.

PiCast Episode 15 - Gallifrey One

Scott and Brittany record an episode of the PiCast all about the Doctor Who Convention: Gallifrey One in Los Angeles over Valentine’s Weekend.

This convention was a little more than we bargained for as far as the DoctorWhoness of it. We are fans, but the Marriott LAX was filled with Super Fans.

We start by discussing our cosplay for the event. Day one was Ten and Rose from the Idiot’s Lantern Episode and Day Two was Nine and Tardis. The Cosplay was great at Gally1 and we talk about a Little Mermaid / Tenth Doctor Mash up we saw with her Sonic Dinglehopper.

Have you noticed that the Ribbons are getting out of hand? This was a phenomenon at Gallifry One! How many ribbons did you get?

We talk about all the celebs in attendance, including Sir John Hurt and Magenta herself, Patricia Quinn.

We discuss cool art from Blair Shedd of OneGemini.com and Christopher Jones from ChristopherJonesArt.com

Also we realize that while we were attending this convention we actually bought tickets to 3 other cons! Are we overdoing it?

PiCast Episode 14 - Nashville

Brittany is back from her roadtrip to Nashville with her sister and cousins. We were so excited to talk about it that we forgot to record an intro! Don’t forget to subscribe and review the PiCast on iTunes!
