Toni Coleman has been a licensed Cosmetologist of 33 years. She started her career in her hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has been married for 29 years to Selwyn Coleman and is the proud mother of two adult daughters; Ashley and Bianca. Toni and her family moved to Bradenton, Florida in December 1989. Toni Coleman is a founding partner of TnT’s Beauty and Barber Salon; a long standing community business located in Palmetto, Florida. It is in this capacity that has allowed TnT to have a positive impact on the lives of thousands in the surrounding communities, in-cluding the youth and elderly residents. Toni’s expanding expertise in servicing the “whole person” has lended itself seamlessly to other business ventures such as Inte-rior Design and becoming a Personal Shopper/Stylist. For 10 years, she also has been a Marketing Executive for an online wellness company and she has been a Make-Up Presenter for Younique Cosmetics for four years. Toni’s goal is to foster an environ-ment that values diversity of clientele while maintaining a dedicated focus on pro-fessionalism and customer service. Her greatest joy is for people to feel beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside. Toni has demonstrated and has taught her chil-dren that Christianity requires service in this world. She quotes, “Everyday I work hard to inspire, empower and breathe life into people.” Toni has always participat-ed in charitable work by supporting the efforts of others to improve the local com-munity, as well as in her hometown. However, she desired to have a lasting, more profound impact. So Toni prayed about her purpose and was obedient to God’s call and began to direct her efforts toward the most vulnerable, the world’s children. For the last 3 years, Toni has been a Mentor and Child Advocate for AMI Kids Mana-tee, where she earned the award for “Mentor of the Year”. Her success is attribut-ed to her commitment, consistency, respectful and equitable approach and ability to establish trust with her mentees. Toni is also a registered Mentor with Big Broth-ers Big Sisters of America. In 2016, Palmetto Youth Center presented TnT’s Beauty and BarberSalon with the “Martin Luther King Jr.’s Small Business of the Year” award.
