Is there a link between good beer and a successful economy?

 

In this episode of the IEA Podcast, IEA Head of Political Economy Dr Kristian Niemietz sat down with host Kieran Neild-Ali and reviewed the book 'Socialism Sucks: Two Economists Drink Their Way Through the Unfree World’ over a pint.

The book details two economists, Benjamin Powell and Robert Lawson, who travel the world, sampling food and drink in countries with an historical or cultural link to socialism or communist regimes.
