It wasn’t always pretty at times, but the Steelers beat the Bengals 24-16 on Sunday, extending their home record in opening games at Heinz Field, while also adding to Marvin Lewis’ terrible percentage against Pittsburgh.

We’re going to give the entire team a big hand for holding the lead throughout the game, and for each unit’s game plan working to fruition.

Joe’s back and ready for Sunday, when Heinz Field opens for the 2016 NFL season when the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cincinnati Bengals.

On today’s episode, Joe is joined by Terry Fletcher, who guest hosted the previous show, as the two will tear down some key statistics that make the Bengals appear anything but a rival to the Steelers.

They’ll also break down the keys to the game, and what will need to happen for Pittsburgh to leave the game 2-0.

SCU contributor Terry Fletcher (who may know more about football than I do) reveals why the Steelers have the best receivers in the league, while also talking about their impact in the Washington game from Monday, and their potential impact in Sunday’s key match-up against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Joe’s back to flying solo, ready to debunk all of the “consecutive records” that the Washington Redskins hope to parlay from the end of 2015, into the start of their 2016 season as they host the Pittsburgh Steelers for week 1 of Monday Night Football from our nation’s capitol.

The Redskins could present some interesting problems for the Steelers, yet, it’s Pittsburgh who may give them fits in the end.

Well, not that this podcast ever strays from football, but today we’re talking about the Steelers roster moves and injury concerns, both of which pertain to what will occur next Monday when Pittsburgh visits the nation’s capitol to take on the Washington Redskins.

It’s been a busy week, and there’s lots to talk about, with the Steelers acquiring a quarterback and a corner, plus making some other switches, including the placement of players on the PUP and IR, plus another Steeler who’s injured, but hasn’t been taken off of the active roster (as of yet.)
