Joe and Brian are hard at work on this Labor Day holiday to dissect the moving pieces that comprise the Pittsburgh Steelers 53-man roster.

With signings, extensions, releases, and more revealed over the weekend, the duo will talk about their surprises: both who did and did not make the cut!

There’s also a discussion as to whether or not the Steelers are in the market for another tight end and why that may or may not be important to the composition of the roster, and the team’s plans for the 2019 season.

The preseason is over and teams will now trim their rosters. But before that, Brian E. Roach is joined by the “Professor” Zach Metkler to discuss the Steelers final preseason game in Carolina, a 25-19 loss.

Score aside, who made a case to be included on the final 53-man roster? And who might be on the outside looking in?

The duo will look at every angle to see how Pittsburgh’s roster might look this weekend.

There were a lot of positives and very few negatives in the Pittsburgh Steelers 18-6 victory over the Tennessee Titans Sunday night. Joe and Brian discuss the ramifications of this preseason game, including what the Steelers might do with their backup quarterback competition between Mason Rudolph.

Has Rudolph won the job? Is Joshua Dobbs trade bait? And why neither of those storylines may ultimately matter.

The hosts will also discuss the rise of the Steelers defense and how analysts are sleeping on the organization as a contender in 2019.

Joe and Brian are back to talk about all of the storylines heading into the Steelers third preseason game this Sunday as they go on the road to take on the Tennessee Titans.

With the bright lights of primetime shining brightly, the duo discusses if Pittsburgh will have its full complement of starters in the game, as well as how that will impact key position battles at the backup quarterback position and wide receiver depth chart.

There’s also talk about the tight end position: and the hosts explain why there’s no need to panic.

A change in defensive philosophy is also mentioned, and how we may not have seen that side of the ball in “full force” last week and what differences there could be in Week 3 of the preseason.

Brian is deserted by his two brothers from other mothers and joined by his "sister from another mister", Tina Rivers as they break down the Steelers 17-7 victory over the Chiefs.

Who stood out and who didn't?

And was there a Grown Ass Man award?

Plus, and possibly most important: did #TheRefsStink?

Joe and Brian are back to discuss the trials and tribulations of the Pittsburgh Steelers preseason.

Among today’s topics include a tribute to the shocking passing of wide receivers coach Darryl Drake and how the team is moving forward on the never-ending train ride that is the NFL season.

The focus shifts to Pittsburgh’s quarterback competition and whether or not Joshua Dobbs will become the center of trade speculation, and why that may not be in the best interest of the Steelers at this time.

Joe and Brian then take a further look at the preseason game this Saturday against the Chiefs, discussing who’s in, who’s out and which players they’re most excited to see in the second week of Steelers preseason action.

Brian Roach and Zach Metkler get on the horn to give you their reactions to the Pittsburgh Steelers first preseason game of the 2019 NFL season.

Of course, their impressions are like everyone else’s: it’s the preseason after all and a plethora of Pittsburgh players didn’t participate. (Say that three times fast!) However, there was still plenty to glean from Friday’s exhibition when it comes to the composition of what the Steelers regular season may look like.

Tune in to hear their thoughts on this game and more.

Real football is finally here!

Sort of…

Joe and Brian discuss what we can expect to see from the Pittsburgh Steelers first preseason game this upcoming Friday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

While it is an actual football game, it’s still not the full serving of Steelers football one may want: the crew discuss why this first week of exhibition games will be both satisfying and leave you wanting more…
