If I was to talk about three very important things that will remain both here and in the life to come, would you know what those are?  And would you know which one is the most tenacious of the three?

Today we’re going to continue with our subject of love using a song entitled “Perfectly Loved”. It was written by Andrew Ripp/ Ethan Hulse/ and Rachael Lampa (which is the performing artist I chose to add to your “Place of Worship” playlist.

You might have guessed that the love we’re discussing today is “Perfect Love” and most certainly does not apply to the way WE love.  But it is the way God loves us.  We are all “perfectly loved”.  

What do you think of when I say the word love?  Do you connect it to someone or something?  Because we do use that word to describe how we might feel many different ways about and things in our life.  

The next few weeks we’re going to dive into that word as it applies to God, to ourselves and to others around us.  Today, it’s all about Overwhelming Love.

Today is the last of a series of 4 talking about God’s Faithfulness.  We started out talking about His faithfulness in always leading us along the best pathway for our lives.  The next week we talked about God’s faithfulness, even when we are in His holy waiting room.  Last week we talked about the faithfulness of God’s word and how it stands firm, even in Heaven.  This podcast we’ll be talking about the faithfulness of an ever present God. 

Have you ever had someone “give you their Word” and then not keet it? Sometimes that only has to happen once to shake a confidence and trust in that person’s word from then on. 

An honest man’s or woman’s word is like a promise.  It’s something we should always be able to count on, no matter what!!!!!

I am very familiar with the inside of a waiting room -  God’s, that is.  And the funny thing is, it looks different each time I go there.  But there is one thing that never changes.  The Faithfulness of God that surrounds you in those times of waiting.

     Today we start the first of a series of 4 podcast reflecting on God’s Faithfulness.  So many amazing songs, that I’ve already used in the past, reflect so beautifully on this part of God’s character.  

     But the Christian music community is not running short on songs dealing with God’s faithfulness, and I have 4 more amazing songs ahead for you in the coming weeks.  

     Today’s podcast will be based on the song “Remember”.  It was co-written and performed by Lauren Daigle.  And her collaborators were Chris Tomlin, Ed Cash, Jason Ingram & Paul Mabury.   

     As we move into this time together I just have one question for you - When you’re in your darkest hour; your feeling alone;  and you can’t see God anywhere, what do YOU do?  

How long has it been since you’ve used your imagination?  And when you did, was it imagining the beautiful or a worse case scenerio, like most of us adults tend to do?

Today, our song writer challenges us to imagine the beautiful.  Imagine what could be in the context of what, in reality, will be the best day of our life in a string of best day’s to come.

Are you one that believes there is a purpose for everything?  Well, I’m not sure if that’s true or not, but I do know there is purpose in some things.  And one of those things is just what we’re going to talk about today.  See you soon.
