My daughter asked me the other day if I thought I would ever run out of songs to use as inspiration for this podcast.  I laughed and told her, probably not in my lifetime.

However, God has impressed upon my heart that it’s time, after 19 podcast now, to share the songs that have meant so much to me over the years and impacted my life in a very profound way. Each one holds a direct connection to my story that, of course,  I’ll be sharing with you over the next 6 podcast.

An unknown author once penned this…"There are friends, there is family, and then there are friends that become Family."  This kind of friend is a rare find and you can count yourself blessed if you have even one of these in a lifetime.  

But wait.  You do have one.  At least, He calls you his friend.

In this episode, I’m going to share a story that is very close to my heart. In fact, it’s a story I’m sharing for the very first time in this new episode entitled “He’ll Do It Again”. 

Forever. What do we first think of when we hear that word?  Time, right?  A really, really long time…Well, what if that word was applied to the God who created time?  This week's song entitled "forever" and written by Chris Tomlin, gives us a unique perspective on this very "timeless" word.

What are the two words that are commonly used by most everyone? Here, I’ll give you a hint. You can ALWAYS count on them NEVER being true.  Unless of course they are used by the creator of the universe.  Then I’m thinking you will NEVER have to worry about those words not ALWAYS being true.

In just a few days, we’re going to celebrate and reflect on a time in history that encompassed both the Worst day in this world’s history and the Best day in this world’s history.   Our Song “I’ve Just Seen Jesus” by Gloria Gaither, Danny Daniels & Bill Gaither sets us in that time of history and gives us a beautiful picture of the true meaning of this Easter Holiday.  I would encourage you to look this song up on Video this time and listen to Sandi Patti and Lionel Harris bring these events to life for us. 

Sometimes words just seem empty.  Sometimes the best thing that can happen to us is to fall into the arms of someone we love and just be held.
