Living from passion and purpose isn't so much a destination as an attitude towards life.
–Natalie Matushenko
What’s your purpose? Are you living it or are you living somebody else’s dream? Lately women in FLOW365 have been grappling with purpose, so it seemed like a good time to talk with Natalie Matushenko, a friend and a coach who is obsessed with purpose.
Natalie was living a life that looked like she had it all: flying around the world working on multi-million dollar projects for the World Bank. The money was good. She had six weeks of vacation … and she hated what she did. So she decided to travel through Southeast Asia for a year. During that time, she realized that she didn’t have to spend her life doing something she didn’t want to do.
She found herself surrounded by other people who weren’t loving what they were doing, who wanted a way out. Natalie is a dreamer and big thinker trained to think systematically, and she came up with a seven-step process to figure out what your passion and purpose is. She’s been teaching it for years.

“Carving out time once a month for monthly OM, is like opening up a space for spirit to show up and partner with us.” –Julie Hannon
Potential and possibilities — what’s getting in your way? In FLOW365, we have a monthly Om session, a sacred circle led by shamanic healer, teacher, and OM guide, Julie Hannon. I’m talking with Julie today about making space to access how we want to be and what's in the way of that and how to clear out those obstacles to access all of our potential and our possibilities.
The circle we create is powerful. Julie notes that circles are the oldest form of coming together. We’ve come together around fire in circles and women in circles of seasons and care, and birthing circles. There's no hierarchy, just connection to each other and the sacred.
So what does Om or circle have to do with planning and goals? Meditation, connecting with spirit, coming together … These things help us bend time. It’s one of those things that’s easier to experience than to believe by hearing, but again and again, we see people find more time and spaciousness even as they meditate or come into sacred circle more.

Don't shame yourself from wanting to do the work that you love.
–Becca Carnahan
Flexibility and fulfillment? Yes, please — but what does that really mean? I’m really excited to talk with Becca Carnahan, a career coach who specializes in helping moms find fulfilling jobs that they love without giving up the flexibility that they need.
We start with some of the questions that help people define fulfillment for themselves: What skills do you want to use on a regular basis? Who do you want to surround yourself with? What impact do you want to make? What factors play into fulfillment from a job perspective and from a life perspective? We ask questions to define flexibility.
The question of flexibility and fulfillment may come up while you are in a job, but how do you address that when you are re-entering the workforce after time without paying work? We get into 4 steps for approaching the search and finding something that really works for you financially and with fulfillment and flexibility in mind.

“I’m here to normalize the fact that women can have a really successful business, make very good money, make an impact, AND have a very high quality of life — unapologetically.” – Fabienne Fredrickson
What if you could have it all? What if you had a life filled with all the “things” you love? Fabienne Fredrickson is truly happy with her life, her work, herself. She’s created multiple seven figure businesses, written multiple books, takes 14–16 weeks of unplugged vacation each year, doesn’t work evenings or weekends, has a happy marriage, and lovingly mothers three kids. You’re probably saying that’s nice, but “I can’t.” Sometimes we need to start with the possibilities.
We need to nourish ourselves with pleasure, fulfillment, getting our curiosities and needs met. We need to feel worthy enough to live the life we want and worthy enough to say no, without feeling bad and worthy enough to put our own needs before the needs of everybody else as a form of self care, not selfishness.
We usually know what gives us pleasure. Why do we stop ourselves from having that? We talk about guilt and being taught to put everyone else first. But when we take care of ourselves first, when we deem ourselves worthy of having what we want, we are more loving and less resentful and bitter. And we can all learn to do this.

“Get uncomfortable because that creates growth.”
–Marcy Predmore
Let’s talk about women making money. It’s a topic we tend to shy away from, but every time I do work on making money or my mindset around money or my past limiting beliefs on money, amazing things happen. Money is a great teacher, and I’m excited to talk with Marcy Predmore about the synergy of money, health, wellness, and your mind.
We tend to have a lot of emotions around money, but money itself is just a tool. We grew up with other people’s habits and traditions and emotions around money, but we don’t have to stick with them. For any of you who come from a “money is the root of all evil'' tradition or equating money with greed, consider this: The more you're able to help other people get what they need and want, the more blessings of abundance flow to everybody involved.
And then there’s motherhood and our own well being. How do we fit these together with money making? What mindset blocks are getting in your way? Can you create a thriving business if you are disconnected from yourself? We get into all these juicy questions.

“Values are like an anchor, like a calm security blanket for everybody.” –Jenny Warner
Are you ready for summer? Did you think about values and boundaries when planning your summer? I’m talking with Jenny Warner, a parent coach who delights in helping parents learn how to make parenting fun and how to let their kids figure out who they are. She’s a mompreneur with a twelve-year-old, a busy husband, two dogs, an active healthy lifestyle and a fabulous spiritual practice. In other words, she’s got a lot of balls in the air like the rest of us, and she shows up to calls for FLOW365 with a smile.
There are some big concepts that serve us well and adapt with us as our kids grow: expectations, values, boundaries. But we need to get really clear on what our values are, personally and as a family. We need to let go of expectations we bring in from childhood posing as values. Jenny helps parents unpack their baggage and move forward with more ease.
Think about what you really need to know as a parent. Think about what your gut tells you (or what it might if you knew how to listen to it). That’s the kind of parenting work Jenny does. We come back to the village concept of sharing ideas and information. All of our kids are different, and we all have different perspectives, but we all have something to share and learn.

“You can't manage time. Time is a fixed commodity…. Time is not the variable. The variable is how you manage yourself in time.” –Jackie Woodside
What would happen if you managed your energy instead of your time? I’m talking with Jackie Woodside, who went from hot mess to happy and blessed, and learned to manage her energy instead of time. If you are chronically busy, chronically pressured, always overcommitting, and always feeling like you have too much to do, this is for you!
Jackie was diagnosed as an adult with ADHD and dove into the mind-body connection to learn to retrain her brain. During a silent retreat, her energy management system emerged. She originally called it Calming the Chaos and recently updated it to The Four Keys to Productivity and Peace of Mind.
Like a lot of listeners, Jackie was high functioning. She had an impressive career, was involved in sports leagues, and was taking classes. In other words, she was doing a lot and it looked like she was on fire, but she knew she wasn’t reaching her potential or making the most of her capabilities. She was doing everything last minute and putting off things that were important to her, like writing a book, for short-term tasks. We look at how things changed.

BIO
Jackie Woodside, CPC, LICSW is a best-selling author, TEDx speaker, radio and television personality and seminar leader who is passionate about expanding the edge of human potential. Jackie provides custom training programs, workshops and keynote speeches for businesses, government and non-profit organizations, spiritual centers and national organizations around the country.

“If I don't feel invisible to myself, then I don't care what the culture thinks about me.”
– Sil Reynolds
Loving your life has more to do with your inner life than your outer circumstances. But most of us try to change the outside. In this episode, I’m talking with Sil Reynolds, my mentor and an “elder” in my circle, about transforming from the inside out.
Do you ever hear work-life balance and feel like it’s one more thing you are supposed to “do” or make happen? Sil and I discuss the feeling of inner balance and the balance of energies between masculine and feminine or doing and being — and how we need both for balance.
The overemphasis of masculine qualities, like logic over feeling, have been detrimental to all of us. Bringing the two together, like we do in FLOW where we start with feelings and a creative process and then move into logic and time, is essential for balance.
We talk about:
ABOUT SIL
Sil Reynolds is a mother, author, teacher, and a coach for women. She is proud to call herself an elder. Sil brings 40-years of experience working with women to her coaching and teaching: experience as a nurse practitioner, psychotherapist, and workshop leader.
Sil graduated from Brown University where she majored in Women's Studies. She studied with the renowned Jungian author and analyst Marion Woodman for two decades and graduated from Woodman's BodySoul Rhythms training in dreamwork, archetypal psychology, and the art and science of listening to the wisdom of the body. Sil loves guiding women in reclaiming rejected parts of themselves, so that they can experience their wholeness and, therefore, a more conscious and authentically lived life.

–Desha Peacock
Have big goals that seem to go against the grain of the world around you? Listen up, because I’m talking with author, lifestyle design coach, and retreat leader Desha Peacock, who consistently builds a life that suits her dreams and creativity — even though it goes against the mainstream. We dive right into how she thinks about the life she’s creating.
It starts with her values, the top two being family and travel/adventure. Eight years ago, she quit her job, started a business, and pulled her daughter out of school and brought her to Mexico for a month. She talks about how she made that happen from the hard conversations with her husband to trading spaces — and about the synchronicity that happened from that trip and where it led her.
We also get into the challenges we face as women when we try to take care of ourselves or follow our dreams if that involves leaving children. But how it backfires if we only take care of others. So how does she make the magic happen?

–Andrea Paquette

Loveable is a guidebook for women to come into their full self expression and truly love themselves. Are you the fixer? The one that holds everything together, the one who makes sure everybody else is all right? Are you constantly trying to do all the things for your family and your business? What would happen if you pulled back? Andrea and I talk about how receiving is a muscle and if we develop it we can use it in different parts of our life.
We talk about dropping the conditioning about how we should be on all the time or do everything right. We can get past false beliefs like: I’m not good enough, I’m not measuring up, Nobody likes me, There’s something wrong with me. The masculine way that we have learned how to be doesn't fit with the feminine body, but we can find a different way.
