The time has come for Laura and Nick to once again set the scene for another (hopefully) perfect and equally romantic Date Night complete with dinner, drinks, and a movie. They're cozying up to watch the star-studded rom-com The Lost City. Sandra Bullock plays a romance novelist who gets kidnapped to decode the long lost messages of ancient ruins, and her book cover model Channing Tatum decides it's his duty to save her. Will this new age rom-com be date worthy? Or will it fall flat on the rom-to-com ratio/spectrum?
Hooray’s Bar has been in the town of Greenport for generations, run by the men of the Gunne family, a long line of cantankerous barkeeps. Now in the hands of Ray III, the bar is well loved by its clientele of hard-drinking regulars but dingy and run down compared to its heyday. When a rich developer sets his sights on Hooray’s, Ray III and his staff and regulars have to face a dilemma: find the missing liquor license for the bar or close for good. Can a ragtag group of local drunks save the bar they love with good times and chili? Or is it Hooray’s last hoorah??

In this PMT Miniseries, Hobert and Mike sit down to tear apart a movie they didn’t like so they can put it back together. They’re not script doctors, they’re script butchers. In this episode they pull down Moonfall, a 2022 sci-fi thriller that cratered so hard it almost ended film making. Tune in for some major changes as Mike and Hobert fix the most egregious flaw in the script: they don’t murder the moon. Find out how to dress up a boring ancient alien reveal with a fast casual restaurant tie-in, the most cinematic way to get drunk kids into space, and ponder where you’ll go when the moon falls (Albany, NY) in this installment of Script Rippers!!!

In this new PMT Miniseries, Hobert and Mike sit down to tear apart a movie they didn’t like so they can put it back together. They’re not script doctors, they’re script butchers. In this episode they discuss the Ryan Reynolds sci-fi hug-fest The Adam Project. For a movie about a time traveling fighter pilot who steals an experimental plane, it sure does spend a lot of time watching a kid do an impression of Ryan Reynolds. Get ready to hear two pitches for alternate timelines where The Adam Project has at least 60% less quips; one a grim tale of murder and another where a guy actually spends time flying the cool plane he stole.
Brett Marshall is an easy-going guy. He works at a Verizon store slinging cell phones, watches sports, and generally has a positive attitude about everything. When Brett is abducted by a secret NASA research group hoping to learn how an average American might react to being taken into space by an alien ship, Brett has to adjust to living in space amongst the “AlphaZetans.” But the crew of this cosmic vessel are really six scientists trying their best to uphold the illusion that he’s lightyears from home with limited funding and amateur acting. Will Brett ever see Earth and his beloved Verizon store again? Will he ever notice that everyone around him is wearing green makeup and the windows into space are all TV screens? Find out in this thrilling story of one man’s “journey” “beyond” the “stars.”
