Laura and Hobert sit down for another double feature of their own design! This time the theme is “things talking that shouldn’t talk,” and the films are Look Who’s Talking (1989) and A Talking Cat!?! (2013). After the movies, Laura and Hobert break down the appeal of the worst talking cat effect of all time, old white dudes as babies, and some potential drinking games to complement A Talking Cat!?!’s obsession with going up stairs and making cheese puffs.

When three college students sign up for a week-long sleep study experiment, they think they’re just going to get some spending money, some much needed rest, and some insight into their recurring nightmares. On the first night of the study, though, the three strangers from different paths discover that, for reasons none of them can explain, when they dream together they can enter each other's dreams. As the study continues, the three strangers grow closer as the lines between reality and fantasy blur and their three minds start to become one. Will the new-found friends discover there’s no limit to their own imaginations? Or will they be caught up once again in their own REM cycles?

Erik is back for another edition of Please Watch This, and this time it’s his turn to pick a movie for Hobert to watch! Tune in for an in-depth discussion of the 1995 brain-hacking classic, Johnny Mnemonic! Erik and Hobert talk Keanu, Cyberpunk 77, and how quirky sci-fis always get screwed by movie studios. In a world where a dolphin can blow up Dolph Lundgren, why don’t we get to see anyone’s robot enhancements in action?
