The Prime Minister has ditched his Wellington city apartment and moved into the newly refurbished Premier House. The 37-million-dollar property has received an interior paintjob, new curtains and blinds, and other superficial renovations over the past nine months. Christopher Luxon came under fire when it was revealed he was collecting a 52-thousand-dollar a year accommodation allowance to live in his mortgage-free Wellington apartment instead.
