Publishing audiograms or still images of your podcast episodes on YouTube is not going to help you grow on YouTube. YouTube is a video platform and therefore favors video.

We're all about conducting experiments for our podskis and we are constantly being asked about Smartphone podcasting.   

Two questions that we get asked all the time are:

Can I record a podcast with 2 phones or 2 people?

Can I transfer the files from my phone to my computer?

In this episode, we put ourselves through the test and record an episode using our phones.  When we finished with the episode, Studio Steve dragged the files from our phones into Reaper to make some basic edits.  

As usual, we were impressed with the results.

Weeks go by, months or years pass, the episodes pile up, and it can be easy to slip into a slump or even to pod fade and stop podcasting altogether.

For how much money would you be willing to sell the rights to your podcast? we'll according to the Wall Street Journal, Joe Rogan did it for an undisclosed sum of over $100 million to the music and podcast streaming giant Spotify. This isn't the first big deal Spotify gets into. The streaming service company keeps getting more involved in podcasting and the last year has invested millions of dollars in acquiring podcast networks and shows making them exclusive for their users.
