I thought it was remarkable that this man in his seventies made the effort to walk to the back of the train just to wave at this small crowd of onlookers. "This particular day, the DJ came on and he goes, and here we have another Neil Sadaka record. Well, I'd heard that so many times that I remember thinking, gosh, Neil Sidaka must be a record company to have that many hits. But that's how popular his music was back in the sixties. Those of you who remember him probably remember some of the great songs that he came up with. Calendar Girl was probably one of the most popular. Happy birthday, sweet 16."

"She took me on an extensive tour of the different departments where I saw animation artists at work, including those who did the painting of the cells and the backgrounds. I was amazed when she took me to a rather dark part of the studio where an animation cameraman was working at a huge animation stand. This thing was about 15ft high. She left me there for about half an hour and the cameraman was very kind, explaining what he was doing in great detail. It was absolutely fascinating."
