    "What happened is then when you think about people who want to keep and maintain and increase power, you can't martyr everyone. The teachings that he, Jesus was sharing were catching. And so what do you do when that happens? You can't wipe out everybody because this is too far reaching. So then you neutralize the belief. They decided that it was important to instead of the complex shades and flavors of Christianity that existed at the time."

Ask the questions I hadn't been permitted in some cases, or ask them in a different way and really just understand things better to sort of give myself a stronger reconnection, if you will. Because so much had been disrupted in my life at that point. Surprisingly, that is what brought me out of the faith. It wasn't some tragic event. It wasn't whatever people say it is that brings people out of the faith."

And I'm like, what are you doing? And I've experienced this for some time now where I want to be a part of online conversations in live audio spaces.
