"And while Giving us this information. Be cautious and be supportive as well. You know, that's a true friend to me. True friend is a person that you can go without seeing for five years. And on the first day that you see them after that, it. It feels like nothing ever. Like time never stopped because you're so close and you can pick up right where you left off. That is a true friend. Now do I have that? No, I don't."

"And as soon as you say that a high support person has an easier time of it, you dismiss their challenges. And as soon as you say that a lower or a higher support needs autistic, then you're dismissing their strengths. And we don't talk enough about that. Instead we have these very binary ways of looking at people and what their quality of life is."

"So my definition of friendship has changed over the years, and I'll tell you why. I would say I grew up in an era where people will talk about friends. As you know, you would have one or two close friends, and everyone else was an associate. Not a bad way of thinking. But I think what I've done mistakenly is that I made everybody like, if you were my friend, I made you my close personal friend."

"And also in Scripture, Jesus was talking to the disciples and he said to them, I call you friends. I haven't hidden anything from you. He didn't treat him like a servant or a, you know, an associate or something that, you know, he told him, do this, do that, but didn't really explain to them. In the case of the disciples, he explained everything to him. He said, I've, I've. I haven't held anything back."

"And then she reached out to me asking if I could be there with her at the time of the birth. And I honestly felt like that was the biggest honor that one could get. It's equivalent to the pridesmaid, I suppose. And I got to hold her baby for the first time was truly, truly, truly touching and truly emotional for me. And there's not a day that I do not forget. I mean, I don't forget to thank God that you always watched."

"So I ran into this paragraph that says when you focus on what you don't have or on situations that displace you, displease you, your mind also becomes darkened. You take for granted life, salvation, sunshine, flowers, and countless other gifts from to you or me or everyone. You look for what is wrong and refuse to enjoy life until it is that is fixed. When you approach me with Thanksgiving, the light of my presence pours into you, transforming you through and through."

"It was terrible, I get it anyway, but yeah, that is my favorite inspirational quilt because honestly, it's reminding everybody, you know, and he's reminding his son in the movie, you know, that you're not going to get where you want to be if you just sit around and look for things and be, you know, things and people to blame, you know, and you could say, well, what if someone or something is directly caused for my situation?"

"There's often this joke that you've heard where someone goes to the doctor and they explain to the doctor what's going on. And they say, doc, it hurts when I do this. And then maybe they lift their arm or move their shoulder and it hurts. And the doc responds and says, well, don't do that. And although it's funny, but it really does make sense. Like, if the problem is this, then can you stop doing the problem?"

"Hi swear listeners. I hope you're doing well. I came across this interesting prompt which said what is your favorite inspirational quote and why? Now, I am not a big fan of autobiographies or self management or management self help books because I feel that somewhere down the line, life is the greatest teacher of all."

"So I really, I guess it's a treasure to me because it was my parents and their home and I always loved it and I always wanted it and I ended up getting it. My parents are both deceased now and this is one of the things that I got from them and I, I deeply appreciate it. I keep it in my living room, right?"
