  "It's interesting that you ask this question because, yeah, I feel lonely all the time. Sometimes when I'm in a full house, I feel lonely because sometimes people just don't identify with me on the same level. I can be sitting in the same room with my husband sometimes and feel so lonely. And I know that's shameful to say maybe to some. To me, it's more informative to myself that we are not on the same page always."

  "Yes. Heck, yes. Absolutely. Something that helps me is a quote that I heard a few years ago by a woman who was actually preaching and giving a sermon. She said that loneliness is not the absence of people, but it's the absence of purpose. And that quote resonated with me because I know, like many others, I felt lonely while being in a literal crowd of people. So it's not about having people physically around you. It is about purpose."

  "These aren't the people where I can, quote, unquote, let my hair down, be myself, be vulnerable, transparent. Like, those aren't my people. And so I think when I'm not around my people, that's when I feel most lonely. Because it can be hard when you're around a group of people, but you can't really be yourself. You can't really open up. You feel very guarded when you're around certain groups of people."

So when you're starting to feel lonely or that's when you have to start to do that self reflective period for yourself and say, why? What am I? What is this triggered from?
