    Opinion
    The intro of the show is weird with the abrupt starting music. You do a good job of giving a brief description of the show and the episode. Then you start to read to me. At times a little fast, and it was obvious you were reading. You make an assumption that I've heard your past episodes (I haven't ), and I did like the part where you start to explain why you disagree with the one doctor as your passion came out and you were more talking to me than reading to me.

    I would be careful as you are giving medical advice. You want to throw in a disclaimer about always consult your doctor (or something) to cover your butt. Also, who are you? Why should I listen to you? Throw in something to give yourself some street cred. You seem to be well researched, and you know your stuff, but you might want to throw that in.

    If you want to promote yourself as an expert, you're not going to do it using a free media host and free website. In full discloser, I work for an Anchor.fm competitor, but I would say this even if I didn't.

    They use a file format that can cause playback issues with Apple (even though Apple invented the m4a format)

    Most free media hosts last an average of 31 months. Free bandwidth is a very stupid business plan as bandwidth is not free. Likewise paying people 1000.oo to listen when you have no business plan is not very smart.

    They OWN YOUR SHOW and can do whatever they want.

    They own your iTunes listing.

    They take credit for things they don't do.

    The audio quality is not great.

    I would strongly urge you to get off this platform. Pick anything but SoundCloud (I recommend Libsyn.com, Blubrry.com, use the coupon code sopfree to get a free month at either)

    The show starts off nice, and you jump right into the nerd. Great job. You show you've done your research and establish your street cred. As I am not that much of a nerd, I had no idea what you were talking about and that is probably a good thing. Your audio was good and bad. Good when you were talking, but you may have recorded it too low a recording volume and now you've raised the volume and introduced hiss, which you are trying to take out. Whatever happened, when you stop talking you get a rush of hiss. Also, while you don't NEED a domain name to have a podcast it is not a great first impression when you won't spend $13 a year for a domain at http://www.coolerwebsites.com (www.coolerwebsites.com) and I'm also confused as to why you don't have your show notes on your website. Your show notes are google fertilizer

    Your show's name is confusing. Is it a religious show or a legal show. You're attempting to come across as an expert, but you're using a free media host, and you don't have a website. This is not a good first impression. If you go to a few people and say, "I'm doing a show called "Sunday School Show" what do you think it's about? I don't think they will "legal cases." So a better first impression would be to put the players on your website and update your settings in your RSS feed to point at your website. If you don't have a website, you can get web hosting cheap, or you can use http://Libsyn.com (Libsyn.com) as a media host and use their free website (use the coupon code sopfree to get a free month).
    The "Good Morning" was VERY loud and about blew out my headphones. Maybe a quick mic check before recording the show would be a good idea. You then introduce you practice before introducing your podcast. The phone number makes you sound like an ambulance chaser. You don't need to keep repeating the phone number as it's a podcast, and you can put it in your show notes.
    It takes a long time to get to your first case. Part of this is due to this being radio, and a radio format is different than a podcast format (but you could edit some of this stuff out). Also who is Jerry Wells? You just said he is here, but I have no idea who he is.
    I would rearrange this and explain what the show is, explain what the episode is about (give a tease), explain who you are (quickly), do you disclaimer and get to the content as quick as possible (maybe even do your promotion for your practice after the first case).
    The audio was good, and the intro had some cool production, but I would leave Soundcloud ( and sign up at http://Libsyn.com (Libsyn.com) using the coupon code sopfree) and get a website (or point them toward yours and add the players to your website) and structure your podcast to get to the podcast as soon as possible and edit out those things that get repeated for radio out of your podcast.

    The intro music was too loud, and you need to boost the treble on the voice over as you can't hear what she is saying.     You are reading, which is fine, but you sounded like you were reading. This needs something as it was starting to bore me. Make it more like you're telling a story to the person on the other side of the table from you. You can get away with reading the news, but listen to a newscast there is certain voice inflection. You were 100% news, and you weren't 100% talking to me across the table. You were in the middle. Also in your table of contents, it sounded like the pop culture topics were buried in the middle. If that it was the show is about put those up front.

You did a good job of explaining who he is, but I wanted to hear someone pick apart some Radiohead music, and instead, we were picking about his background, and I don't need his college career to talk about the distortion on creep.

    For a first episode, you sound great. You do have a pretty bad plosive problem (Popping P's and B's) and I thought the opening monologue started off great and got me thinking, but then dragged on the point that I thought you were skipping any kind of intro, then when you did the intro, it seemed unnecessary. You don't have a website and you need one to tell people to go to so they can subscribe to your show. Speaking of subscribers you need to work the word baseball into your title. Something like Ghost Runners: Stories, Myths, and Legends, from Baseball as if people search for Baseball with your current title, you're not going to have a chance showing up.
    You're using a media host that is so new that they aren't even open. I'm assuming you are sucked in by the promise of sponsors. I've used two similar services and they just suck. My last experiment paid $1.5 per 1000 downloads. So if you show had 300 downloads (somewhat typical) you would make 45 cents per episode. I would recommend http://Libsyn.com (Libsyn.com) or http://Bluburry.com (Bluburry.com) and use the coupon code sopfree to get a free month at either place (you get more storage at Libsyn, and the ability to have your own Alexa App)

    The intro was ok and you did a job of explaining what the show was about, and a good job letting me know your African expert was qualified. You did throw in a fair amount of details that seem to drag the story out and prolong us getting to hearing about all the cool stuff about Africa. Once you got there you asked some good questions (am I going to die in Africa). For a show that was supposed to be through the voices of experts, it seems to take a while to get to the expert. Also when the voice sing "Let's go see the world" that was a bit jarring (through the ears of a musician) and I would fade out the music as you are talking instead of letting it abruptly stop. I'm not much of a traveler (so I'm not your target audience) but I would think there would be more WOW to put up front to get me to by into listening. The intro clip you played seemed to drag on a bit. The audio of the interview sounded exactly like it is, it's recorded someplace not designed to do recordings. It wasn't horrible, but it was boomy, and I was curious as to what was going on behind the scenes (for me, when I'm in that situation I start with "I'm on the floor at _ talking with_ ). So the good news is, it wasn't horrible, but the bad news is I didn't mind hitting stop on the player.
    Also, there is no way to subscribe to your podcast on the website that I could find. You have to make it easy to subscribe to your show, and I really had to dig just to find an RSS feed.

    The show started off good (although you left the part where you cleared your throat) and explained what the show was about. I could say I didn't like the fact that this is a show about self-driving cars, but instead, you were talking about human-driven scooters (but you held my attention), but the deal breaker is your audio quality. Your volume is set way too low.

    I liked the intro as it let me know what the show was about. You got to your intros, and then you spent time asking for reviews, and you haven't given me anything to review yet (also SUBSCRIBERS are more important than reviews, reviews and rating are social proof. They do NOTHING to advance you up the carts). You audio was not bad, but Mark's audio is little "boomier" than Jake's. Mark spent some time talking about shows that don't exist. Luckily he got off that quickly. Then you get to the stories quickly, and not only give the relevant details, but I liked that you then gave your own additional information.
