  • Podcast Valley Sunday 54: The Monkees In Paris

The Monkees get fed up with their show and take off for Paris! While there they get chased by girls...drive a selection of tiny vehicles...romp around Paris...and that's pretty much it. But with four songs throughout the episode, a cameo from regular director James Frawley and Bob Rafelson writing and directing, this episode is a stand alone pseudo French New Wave romp that only the Monkees could pull off. Paco & Jef take a break from the Woolhat Of Mystery and add some Honorary Slip In's to the Randomatic Countdown!

  • Podcast Valley Sunday 53: The Monkees Race Again (aka Leave The Driving To Us)

This week the Monkees are mechanics who need to help a friend of Davy's grandfather win an auto race but end up getting a couple Nazi's mad at them because THEY want to win the race (who writes this stuff?!). Paco and Jef walk you through this (let's face it) mess of an episode that has a very loose feel but not in the good way the Monkees usually bring to the table. Within the zaniness there are a couple recurring gags and some great callbacks to the early episodes.

  • Podcast Valley Sunday 52: The Devil And Peter Tork

This week Paco has some big news concerning The Monkees BluRay box set re-release & then they take through a journey to He** and back! Peter sells his soul to the Devil so he can play the harp and become rich and famous but when the time comes to pay up the Monkees try to save his soul! It's a classic episode that is jam packed with Monkees callbacks and great songs like Salesman, No Time and a harp rendition of I Wanna Be Free! Plus the Randomatic Countdown featuring Woolhat of Mystery gives us three new Monkees songs to add to the list! Action packed show!

  • Podcast Valley Sunday Live 1967 Special Part 1

This week we take a break from the TV show to enter the arena...to listen and react to The Monkees Live 1967! If you're favourite part of a concert is the person next to you not shutting up and talking through the whole thing then you're gonna love this episode! Paco and Jef react to The Monkees on their first big tour playing songs from the show and songs from their latest (and very important) album, "Headquarters". This is when The Monkees jumped off the tv screen and got out of the haunted mansions and onto the stage where they shut up all the haters who said they didn't know how to play their own instruments! So get ready to scream your head off as we check out The Monkees Live 1967!

  • Podcast Valley Sunday 51: The Monkee's Paw

Have you ever wished that Micky would just shut up, already?! If you said yes, then this is the episode for you! Paco and Jef walk you through the tale of The Monkee's Paw where upon buying a gross dismembered monkey's paw, Micky gets three wishes...but each great wish brings with it a great bummer and Micky ends up losing his voice. Is this the end of the Monkees as we know and love them? Will Micky be banished behind the drums forever? You'll have to listen to Podcast Valley Sunday to find out! (or I guess you could watch the episode...but at least check back in to get our take on it)

  • Podcast Valley Sunday 50: Monstrous Monkee Mash

This week we get spooky as the boys find themselves in a haunted castle trying to save Davy from a whole slew of monsters like Dracula, Wolfman and Don Kirshner! (well, maybe not Don). Borrowing stock footage and costumes from past episodes, Monstrous Monkee Mash is full of great easter eggs for the Monkee fan. Be sure to stick around for the latest round of the Randomatic Countdown Featuring The Woolhat Of Mystery where three new Monkees songs are randomly pulled out of a green woolhat and placed into our ongoing Monkees list!

  • Podcast Valley Sunday 49: The Monkees Watch Their Feet

This week Paco and Jef take on The Monkees Watch Their Feet...an episode that's hard to put your finger on and that's not a good thing. Another episode without Mike leaves Davy, Peter and Micky dealing with space aliens trying to destroy the planet. This episode is a bit uneven and Paco and Jef work their way through all the way to the Randomatic Countdown where a brand new song hits a brand new low and ends up at the very bottom! Which song is it? You know that you just have to listen to find out!

  • Podcast Valley Sunday: Mike Nesmith Memorial

This wasn't an episode we thought we'd be doing and definitely wasn't an episode we looked forward to. But Mike meant/means so much to the both of us that we knew that we had to do something. Rather than just go down Mike's Wikipedia page and list off his accomplishments we decided to just chat about what Mike meant to us, some of our favourite Mike moments from the show and recap Mike's top ten songs on our own Randomatic Countdown. We hope you join us for a few laughs and some great music as we pay tribute to guy who had a very real impact on our lives and we're sad to see him go. Happy Trails, Nez...we're glad we existed at the same time.
