In this episode P&J walk you through the Monkees as they get bamboozled into babysitting an ungrateful 12 year old over the Christmas holidays and somehow try to make him believe in the spirit of Christmas! In this episode the boys go over to Texas to visit Mike's Aunt Kate only to find that her farm is under siege from Black Bart and his posse. Paco and Jef talk you through this traumatic experience and have a great time doing it. Hilarity ensues as Mike ends up pulling a phone off the wall and Micky and Peter play dress up to try and recruit some cowboys to help fight off Black Bart and save the farm! Paco & Jef found a video on YouTube of the 1986 Reunion show at the Greek Theatre where Mike Nesmith got onstage with the band...but other than that they knew nothing about it! So take a seat and listen to the show as well as what our boys think about what they're seeing. Without the usual structure Paco & Jef turn this episode into a chill-sesh at times and we all hope you dig it!

This episode explodes out of the gates with a live version of "Goin' Down" and it never lets off the gas! Paco & Jef take you to an out of the way town where the Monkees make enemies with a local biker gang, the Black Angels. The boys are in fine form and are really starting to get free with the storylines and scripts and it's a great time! This week Paco & Jef take you behind the scenes of the theatre when The Monkees (minus Mike) have to save a dancer from her evil dancing partners who have hidden a microfilm in her shoes! She falls in love with Peter (a nice change of pace) and Micky and Davy are called into action and hilarity to right the wrongs!

The Woolhat Of Mystery takes a week off and Paco & Jef dust off the Honorary Slip In special feature and they each pick a song that's not on a Monkees proper album and delve into the unreleased, B-sides and live tracks and fit them into the Rando-matic Countdown! On this special episode of Podcast Valley Sunday Paco gets to have a quick conversation with everyone's favourite drummer, singer, actor, comedian: Micky Dolenz! Speaking with Micky was a surreal experience that I hope every Monkees fan gets to have! Just by talking with him you can tell that he's a professional meet-and-greeter and can keep the conversation moving along. It was a thrill to be able to ask him questions that I've had for a long time and hopefully one day I'll be able to get deeper with some other topics. I hope that you enjoy this conversation with Micky! (PS: at one point he asks if I would like a "white one or a black one" and he's referencing the drum head that he's going to sign...I took the classic red Monkees logo on the white background!)
