Podlander Drunkcast

Hi y'all -

It's fine. We're good! But...a real come-down from a bear attack, y'know? Lots of hot pess and good work in this episode. Special tri-corn hat tip to Charles Vandervaart as William, really serving that bug vest. Hey Jamie...quit being such a turd. Your wife is a wizard! Get with the program.

Lots of love,

Allison and Julie

Hi y'all -

Allison and Julie got together to watch and talk about Starz's Outlander, season 8 episode 2, "Prophecies." This episode has EVERYTHING. The hottest of piss, great direction by our gal Caitríona Balfe, late-night grave digging, great costuming, a new baby, and a bear attack....whuuuut?? This one reminded us of the good old days of our time with this show!

Lots of love,

Allison and Julie

Hi y'all -

Allison and Julie got a lil' high and very much enjoyed watching Starz's Outlander, season eight episode one, "The Soul of a Rebel." Minus ONE THING, we loved it! Probably a lot of you agree? Aaaannyway, Patti, please enjoy us joking around and occasionally spouting some trenchant criticism. Confidential (not really) to David Berry....we love you. What books would we take through the stones back to the Revolutionary War? No paperbacks, of that we can assure you.

Lots of love,

Allison and Julie

Hi everyone -

Better late than never, here is our fan-requested episode where we (Julie and Amelia) say nice things about Blood of My Blood that aren't all about the actors, the costumes, or the Scotland porn. We also finally address all those Fiery Crosses in the finale.....pssst! It's the Jacobite Rebellion!

Lots of love -

Shut the door to the bothy, babes: it's time to snuggle up with Julie and Amelia's coverage of the season finale of Blood of My Blood. They delighted in the casting department's latest triumphs (baby Claire! Hot Uncle Lamb! MAURA GRANT MACKENZIE!) as much as they despaired of the logic of time travel. And can we get a little commotion for getting this strong sexual content past TSA?

Hi, y'all -

Amelia got together with friend of the show Keenan Caldwell to discuss Blood of My Blood episode 9, "Braemar." Lots of wig talk, happiness at having a more robust plot to gab about, and a big pig hunt. Shout out to Jhon Lumsden as Malcom, you seem like a good man. What else does a gal need, other than being allowed to marry who she wants?? Tell me that!!

Lots of love -

Hi, y'all -

Hey! When we begged for 'hot pess,' this was not what we meant!

Amelia and Julie sat down to discuss the Starz series Blood of My Blood, episode 8, "A Virtuous Woman." This one can go kick rocks. Enough with the humiliation of women! We are all very aware how bad it sucked/sucks! It is nice to see the women banding together - Julia and Mrs. Fitz both rule. And though we were not a fan of this story line, Harriet Slater really knocked it out of the park as Ellen.

Lots of love,

Amelia and Julie

Hi, y'all -

Friend of the show Jen Moniz dropped in to chat with Julie about Starz Blood of My Blood, episode 7 "Luceo Non Uro." A lot of noise, not much action. Murtaugh is (rightly) pissed! Ellen is thinking so fast! Julia is...gardening! Let's get through this thing together, shall we?

Lots of love -

Julie and Jen
