So as the title suggests, The Book of Boba Fett is here! We discuss our first impressions of the episode after months of hype build up and whether or not it hit the mark. Does whatever a spider monk does. This episode goes into a bit more detail on the epic spider creatures we see near "Jabba's" Palace on Tatooine. The Book of Boba Fett's first trailer puts some emphasis on these very mechanical species and we couldn't help but find out some more - which turned out to be A LOT more super interesting details about the B'omarr Monks.

Happy Holidays Podlings! We decided to do an episode on the infamous Star Wars Life Day Special that was released in November of 1978. Bec watches the Life Day Special for the first time to have a long chat about the themes, the characters, the time period and how we think a remake could be really cool. 

Today we look at a scene that uses elements of the classic Film Noir style of cinematography. While Jedi Knight Ankakin Skywalker looks to Grand Master Yoda for some guidance with his feelings we can see how impactful the use of dramatic light and shadow are on storyline.

Star Wars would be very different without post-production, especially when it comes to the voices of iconic characters. In this episode we discuss the changes in voice actors for some of Star Wars' more popular characters like Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Chewbacca, and others. 

Is this another episode about hair? Yes, yes it is. In this episode we talk about the subtle little braid that identifies a padawan jedi in training aka the padawan braid. Or for those of you who call them plaits we can call them padawan plait (has a ring to it). We talk about their purpose, who we see wearing them, what padawans without hair wear, and of course why we stop seeing them.

A much needed homage to the original Boba Fett, Jeremy Bulloch. We dive into this exciting documentary short on Disney+ and talk all things from the original Fett suit, the passing of the mantle to Temura Morrison and some easter eggs throughout the animated series Clone Wars and Bad Batch.

The wonderful game of Dajarik...or rather Holochess. A Galaxy from far, far away's popular board game that is actually a legit board game in our galaxy. We go over the times we see this board game in the movies and how cool it would be if there was a real holographic version of this in the real world. Also... angry wookies!

Our fascination with well designed species continues with an episode that talks about the massive woolly quadruped mammals that we see roaming the dunes on Tatooine. We don't really get to know much about the bantha species so we decided to do a fun fact episode on what we have learned. We talk about their tendencies, their lifespan, diet and of course the insult of being called 'bantha fodder'.  Join us on as we tip toe into the species design of banthas!
