Matthew Diemer is the young & engaged candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives for Ohio's 7th district. He intends to represent the district with proven ideas.

I speak to a lot of politicians. Too often, we hear the same canned message. When a friend texted me that I needed to interview this new candidate, he needn't say more. Matthew Diemer did not disappoint.

I love that Mr. Diemer, who for some time grew up in poverty, understood that sometimes people need a hand up was refreshing. Most importantly, he has lived in virtually every corner and nook in his district. In other words, Diemer did not drop into the community to run. He is of it.

His familiarity with Chinese culture and language makes a difference when China is a significant competitor. He is fluent in Mandarin and has lived there for some time.

Diemer said that he is not interested in the status quo. He wants to engage and talk with everyone in his district. He understands the policies that have caused the area's decline.

Mr. Diemer is young and very outgoing. Ohio congressional district 7 has options. And Matthew Diemer is one candidate the state would do well to consider.
