Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick attempted to blame black Texans for the COVID crisis created by Gov. Greg Abbott & the GOP. Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick is not dumb. He sure knows how to play the blame-the-black-guy game. Republican policies implemented under Governor Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick, and their irresponsible Republican Party are directly responsible for Texas’ COVID surge fiasco.

MSNBC Host Nicolle Wallace was not shy about stating that while most media object to Biden’s withdrawal, it is the opposite for Americans. Nicolle Wallace did not mince her words. She is sure that the American population is more in line with President Joe Biden. They support his Afghanistan withdrawal more so than the media would articulate. In fact, she said they are not appreciative of the pile-on.

Trump statements about the Taliban on Fox News are telling. Matthew Dowd gives Democrats a necessary scolding. Big Pharma attempting to scare Americans again.
Damn It, Democrats! Matthew Dowd is absolutely right. Attacking Biden? Winning’s not all that hard. The attacks by Democrats on President Joe Biden for the ugly Afghanistan exit are strategically foolish. Matthew Dowd hits the nail on the head. Over the last several days, it is clear that Democrats were flying off the wheel. Most seem to be attacking President Joe Biden‘s Afghanistan messy withdrawal with abandon. While Republicans are attacking him as well, I expected their attack to be much sharper.

Donald Trump appeared in Fox News and did what he does best. He decided to praise the Taliban as Americans are overseas on a mission to get Afghans and Americans from Afghanistan.

Big Pharma is at it again. They want to scare Americans to forestall good policy.

Cedric Dark is an ER doctor at the Medical Center in Houston Texas, writer, and influencer. He discusses the COVID emergency, myths, & solutions. America is going through the unnecessary 4th wave in this COVID pandemic. I wanted to speak to someone on the front lines. Emergency Room Dr. Cedric Dark fit the bill. He works in the Houston Medical Center and is seeing the COVID carnage first hand.

Neither the local media nor national media have been kind to the most irresponsible governor Texas has ever had, Greg Abbott. He is a victim of his irresponsibility. Dr. Cedric Dark on COVID.
One should not be surprised that editorials in some of the larger newspapers in Texas would criticize Texas Governor Greg Abbott for getting infected with COVID. The scope of the Houston Chronicle editorial takedown, however, Is shockingly direct and piercing. And it started with the title, “Editorial: How can Abbott protect Texas from COVID when he can’t protect himself?”

I try to be measured, but when we have politicians effectively killing their constituents as TX Gov. Greg Abbott does, we must expose them. And we must do so graphically. The governor will get the best treatments. He also took the booster vaccine. So as he continues to play games with the lives of others, he makes sure to protect himself. The governor is, in fact, a psychopath. Psychopaths govern us.

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan dispelled the silly notion that leaving Afghanistan will marginally increase America’s security risk. Americans have been lied to for a very long time. They have gotten used to hearing silly statements like, “We fight them over there so we do not have to fight them here.” It has always been a statement that made no sense.

Imagine if just as the media, politicians, and institutions object with vigor to exiting Afghanistan for Taliban oppression reasons, they did the same for oppression here. Just like many are concerned about women in Afghanistan, I am concerned about them as well. However, it is not just concern about the women in Afghanistan who are privy to the media, but concern about those in dozens of countries where they are systematically oppressed.

August 17, 2021Infrastructure, COVID, & Democracy not Afghanistan is the narrative. It’s time for women to rule!
Are we blowing it? We’ve no control of Afghanistan. But this is on COVID, Democracy, Infrastructure? As Troubling as the Afghanistan chaos is, we must not lose focus on saving democracy in the US and progressive legislation. Big guns, fighter jets, tanks, and other sophisticated weaponry is no match for unchanging culture. I hope we can be lenient with our asylum policy to let every Afghani who worked for Americans and every Afghani woman, so desires come to America.

Pundit Cornell Belcher made a statement about women taking over political leadership. It is clear women’s leadership around the world is successful. After watching this, I decided to search to find how many countries were led by women. There are 24. Interestingly, most of the countries I reviewed were doing much better than we are doing with COVID. It did not matter if the country was in Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, or Asia.

Texas State Representative Jasmine Crockett has been one of the most visible and articulate legislators fighting the GOP attack on Texas voters. She has a message for Democrats that may be softening. She pointed out that there are rumors of negotiations going on with Democrats fear losing “something.” Crockett made it clear. Republicans in Texas will not come through with anything. They want the bodies of Democrats for a quorum, nothing more. Her wisdom clarifies that any promises made will be immediately reneged upon Republicans succeeding in ramming their voter suppression bills.
