We learn much about praise in our worship services, from the song of Moses. Also, we are reminded of the new song that is sung by all who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

When we find ourselves in a difficult situation and we do not know what to do, we say that we are at our wits end. When we find ourselves there at wits-end-corner, we look to the Lord and He will make a way where there is no way.

Sometimes in life we find ourselves in a place when we cannot see our way through, and we say that we are at wits-end-corner. The children of Israel found themselves at such a place, but the Lord made a way of escape for them and will always do the same for us.

The dear Saviour has told us that we are to rejoice and be exceeding glad, when we are reviled by the world for His names sake. The Lord has told us how we may rejoice in such circumstances.

Pharaoh was angry after he had let the children of Israel go. He then summoned all the chariots in Egypt to go in persuit of Israel and bring them back to the house of bondage. That is a picture of what Satan seeks to do, bring the child of God back into bondage.

Only those who know Christ as Saviour and Lord, con understand how it is possible to be blessed while their are being persecuted.

After centuries in Egypt, the children of Israel's years of being in bondage was about to come to an end. For the first time, they were about to experience glorious freedom. All who have been set free from the bondage of Satan and sin, also enjoy this glorious freedom.

The child of God ought to be a peacemaker and not a troublemaker. Christians ought to be recognised by their peaceful and meek way of life. The Lord Jesus is the supreme Peacemaker, He is our perfect example.
