The dear Lord Jesus said that the Father had not left Him alone, in every situation He was in, the Father was with Him. Then, there was one occasion when the Son was left alone by His Father.

Sometimes when the Lord gives a work to do for Him, things do no go the way we expected, indeed they may seem to go from bad to worse. But it is important to keep trusting the Lord, because He will ensure that everything will turn our to His honour and glory.

The seventh of the I AMs of Christ in John's gospel, is I AM the True Vine. He is not a vine but He is the True Vine, and everything about Him is true. Believers are the branches in the Vine and the Father expects the branches to produce fruit.

Christ who is the great IAM, made it clear that with regard to the kingdom of heaven, that only through Him could anyone enter in.

When God sent Moses to Pharoah to tell him to let the Children of Israel go, the Egyptian king said he would not. That was the beginning of the battle between the King of glory and Egypt's king, there would only be one outcome.

One of the claims of Christ the great I AM is that He is the resurrection and the life. The Lord gives everlasting life to all who receive Him as Saviour, and on the last day will raise them from the dead.

Moses was sent by God to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt. He was sent to set the captives free. God calls His people to go forth to bring the message of the gospel to those who are held captive by the devil and sin. Let us go forth and set the captives free.

In the gospel we read about the claims of Christ, with regard to Him being the great I AM. Of all shepherds, the Lord Jesus claims to be the Shepherd, there is none like Him, He is all good. All who know Him are able to say that He is their shepherd.

Moses was chosen to lead Israel out of the house of bondage, he was, with the help of Jehovah, going to set the captives free. There is a work for us to do, to set free those who are held captive by sin. We are to win lost souls for Christ.

David in Psalm 45 speaks about the great day of the marriage supper of the Lamb. He describes the Royal Wedding, when Christ the King, will be joined by His bride at the marriage supper in glory.
