John Small hails from Sioux Falls and rocks in the radio broadcasting biz! 

What a dude! This turned out to be a great episode. With plenty of tidbits to get you inspired, motivated, and to stay positive! 

John is into many things and over it all maintains FAITH will get him where he needs to be!

John is a husband, father, brother and son. He's an uncle and cousin and son-in-law too... but in addition to all of these things John is also a community volunteer and entrepreneur. John has served as the President of the Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce, on the board for the American Lung Association, a volunteer for the Brandon Edge (a group that puts on many local events for children in his community), on the board for Health Connect of South Dakota, Giving Hope and Parkinson's Foundation of South Dakota. John is also a volunteer at DOZENS of other local events. John is also an entrepreneur and has started NUMEROUS small businesses.

He's been blessed with the "gift of gab" as his loving mother puts it. John has never been afraid to speak in public. This has been a big help in his chosen path in life. John has been able to be Master of Ceremonies (M.C. or Emcee) or a guest speaker at numerous events including the Project Management Symposium (2 times), Brandon Valley Chamber Annual Dinner (5 times), Auction Amore MC (4 times), Pierre Chamber of Commerce and KCCR Event, Powell Broadcasting in Sioux City event (3 times), Riverfront Broadcasting in Yankton (2 times), Riverfront Broadcasting in Mitchell (3 times), Plumbers Success International Expos in Orlando, LA, Dallas.... Roofers Success International Expos in Dallas, St Louis.... Electricians Success International Expos in St Louis, Orlando and the Airtime 500 Expos in St. Louis, Dallas, Orlando.

As a voice actor in commercials, John Small's voice has been heard on XM & Sirius Radio and National Talk Radio Shows from Talk Radio Network, plus he's been the voice for Small Business clients on LOCAL Radio Stations in 49 states and several other countries... he was even ACCIDENTALLY The voice of Chippendales for a few years. (They sent John a request, thinking it was a joke, John replied with a ridiculous reply and the Chippendales loved it. When they offered him the job, John didn't have the heart to say no)

In addition to all of this fun stuff, John and his wife Heidi host a daily radio show "The John & Heidi Show" which started on Sunny Radio in Sioux Falls in 2010 and was then put into syndication in 2015. The show can be heard on almost 200 radio stations around the US and a few other countries through syndication. The show is on six days a week also available as a PODCAST! (JohnAndHeidiShow.com)

An accomplished stage performer, she has appeared in over twenty-five theatre productions in Philadelphia, New York and Washington, D.C. as an actor, vocalist, violinist, pianist and dancer. She was last seen as Panzi Lew McVain in "Long Time Since Yesterday" with Company of Queens Acting Company in Philadelphia. Liz has performed as both a musician and solo opera performer with Philadelphia Young Artists Orchestra, Philadelphia Sinfonia II and with the Academy of Music. Liz is a classical opera vocalist, violinist, pianist, dancer and writer and has been recognized by the Ithaca College Musical Theatre and Opera programs, George Washington University, Glimmerglass Opera, and The Settlement Music School in Philadelphia, where she won the Mario Lanza award. Liz studied at Ithaca College, graduating from their distinguished musical theatre program with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts.
