This is the story of Lane Logan. He lost his battle with PTSD in April of 2015. He is more than just a statistic and his family is seeing that he is honored. They have started the Lane Logan Memorial to help Veterans suffering from PTSD to receive a service dog. This dog is specially trained to care for Vets suffering from many different symptoms of PTSD.
What an amazing way to keep the legacy alive of Lane Logan.
His sister Heather Wipf tells us Lane's story and how they help other Vets!
We cannot thank her and this organization for what they do. Also, for sharing Lane's story with us.
We hope to inspire others through this story and show people what you leave behind. That there is help available and people who are dedicated to helping you overcome!
They have decided to take their grief and help others.
Every June is PTSD awareness month and on the 1st Saturday of June they host a bike run to help raise funds!

All my life and most recently as well I have been dealing with being my own worst enemy and perhaps putting unneeded worry or pressure on my self.
So after talking through it in therapy and reading a good article about it. https://livepurposefullynow.com/can-stop-worst-enemy/

In episode 36 Kat and Steve interview an old friend of Steve's, Missy Sinner. She is currently the Executive Director of The Goss Opera House in Watertown, SD! I have known her for a long time, but we haven't stayed close. I really wanted to find out how someone can stay so positive with all the pressure she must have been under! Plus, I am just consumed with how cool The Goss Opera House is! Years ago I would go there for live music and it just sucked me in!
Check out The Goss Opera House @ http://www.thegossoperahouse.com/

In episode 32 we discuss an article from Digital Society written by Niki Geladi - It discusses how technology is affecting the quality of human face to face interaction.
I think this rings true in so many different situations. There are certainly many positives to technology too. So we of course discuss those!
