Peter Quill says Bah Humbug to Christmas and Drax and Mantis set out on an adventure to bring him the one gift he's always talked about- Kevin Bacon!  Oddly enough, it works on every level.  Really, it's a HOME RUN for Marvel.

20 years ago and older, a Disney animated film was cause for celebration and a night out at the movies.  You always knew a certain quality was there.  You could count on it.  These days, not so much, and that is a real shame.  Strange World leaves many things to be desired, unfortunately. This isn't 2000 anymore.

Will and Ryan.  Ryan and Will.  Bros for sure.  Spirited brings a fun holiday musical both hilarious and up beat.  Sure it suffers from simple problems like story beats and characters not really making sense, but to there ARE some very clever moments.  Like Jacob Marley asking them not to breakout into song every time they have a new development in the plot.  Tracey Morgan is no Norm McDonald, but he's an okay death.  As always, Ryan Reynolds is worth the time spent.  Maybe not Will Ferrell but he's not bad either.

The MCU is a steamroller that will not stop and the newest installment in the form of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever sees Wakanda's struggle against the outside world become more real and, with the loss of it's king and protector, is failing to find diplomatic solutions to the growing hostilities.  A darker chapter in the MCU with a few major problems to boot.  Have a listen!

Enola Holmes is back at it again, trying to establish her own detective agency, while living in the shadow of her mother and two older brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft.  With Enola Holmes 2 being set against the backdrop of a the real and first movement in women's rights, the movie is a light hearted action romp, with some not so clever 4th wall breaking.

One of the most famous novels about war ever written is once again adapted to the big screen.  This Netflix adaption does so many things right.  Paul Baumer goes from a world of a young boy- friends around him and a small life in a German town to the the absolute horrors of the The Great War.  At Two hours and twenty minutes, the film is a commitment but a damn good one.  One of the best things Netflix has put out all in a while.  Choose original German language track OR English voice over, though the movie hits harder when watched with the original German language tracks.
