It was billed as a battle of the heavyweights between the top 2 teams in the NHL, but it was a first round KO for the Bruins as they absolutely hammered the Canucks, bringing back some bad memories from 2011. Boston looked hungry from the jump, but it was the Canucks who were forced to eat a large serving of humble pie as they gave up 2 more short handed goals in a effort that, thankfully, we haven't seen very often from this years team. They will look to regroup for their back to back early starts on the weekend.
