Captain Quinn and Co. woke up in Washington today to take on the Great 8, Alexander Ovechkin and his Capitals. Vancouver looked to bounce back after an OT loss yesterday in Detroit. Ovechkin found the back of the net for the 5th game in a row, but the Canucks managed to come out on top 3-2. Hoglander had a beauty and JT Miller finished it off with the game winner, while Thatcher Demko was Vezina worthy, as usual.
