The Minnesota Wild picked up an impressive sweep of Washington and Carolina by beating the Hurricanes 4-0 on Saturday night to improve to 25-11-4. Filip Gustavsson stopped all 20 shots he faced and the Wild defense dominated the Hurricanes all night long. Mats Zuccarello got the scoring started in the first. Joel Eriksson Ek scored a tap in goal off of a Zuccarello shot in the second, and Matt Boldy and Mats Zuccarello scored to back Gustavsson, and the Wild improved to 15-3-3 on the road. The Wild Penalty Kill was perfect and the Wild netted a Power Play goal against the best Penalty Kill in the league. The Wild host St. Louis on Tuesday for their next game!
