That's exactly what NC State did on Wednesday with its second straight collapse in Virginia, this time coming in a 79-76 loss to a bad Virginia Tech team. The Wolfpack led by more than two touchdowns again but couldn't find shots late as the Hokies stormed back with a 9-0 run in the final 2:47 of play to hand the Pack another crushing loss on the young season.
