  • Andy Stankiewicz, USC Baseball

I met Andy 12 years ago when he was hired to take over Grand Canyon University Baseball. I was fortunate enough to broadcast many GCU games and have great conversations with Andy over the years; he taught me so much about the game I love and I appreciate him immensely.

It was bittersweet that Andy took the USC job in the summer of 2022 -- sweet because, as you will here in the podcast, it is something Andy wanted to do and is excited about and I always wish the best for him...bitter because I will miss our pre-game chats!

Andy is one of my favorite human beings and I hope you enjoy this PotterCast as much as I did!

(Kuddos to GCU for acted quickly and signing, Gregg Wallis, who I have been fortunate to work with and learn from over the years, as well. Gregg is PotterCast E2 and I engocourage you to listen!)

  • Dan Munton, Physician

Dan and I met at Grand Canyon College in 1986 and, although we only attended school together for one year, we have been life-long friends.

We chat about Dan's life as a sports medicine physician, his passion for pursuing his interests and figuring out how to accomplish his goals as he goes, and, of course, a steady dose of baseball...hope you enjoy!

  • Deron Filip - Owner, Filip Racing

Deron & I met at GCU in 1986 and have been buddies ever since. We've done podcasts and radio shows together, but on this episode, we chat about Deron's "hobby"...horse racing!

Deron started Filip Racing, with his wife, Cindy, and we dig into how he got started with racing, when he decided to start a team, how it went, and what they are doing now.

I hope you enjoy this fascinating conversation about horse racing...thanks for listening!

  • Michael Repper - Conductor

Mike Repper is one of the most sought-after young conductors in the world and it was great to sit down and chat with him...and my wife, Lori, joined us!

I met Mike through my daughter, Emma, who played for Mike in the New York Youth Symphony and soloed for the Northern Neck Orchestra under his baton.

Mike's energy, excitement, professionalism, and positivity are infectious and much needed in the classical arts world...I hope you enjoy the chat and much as we did!

  • Russ Ortiz - Former MLB Pitcher

I met Russ broadcasting together for the WAC Baseball Tournament a few years ago and we've stayed in touch ever since.

Great guy and a lot of fun to get his thoughts on the playoffs, analytics, pitching through the lineup a third time, having a plan of attack as a pitcher, and much much more.

Enjoyed chatting with Russ and hope you enjoy listening!

  • Ed Lynch - Former MLB Pitcher, GM

Ed was featured in the ESPN 30 for 30, Once Upon A Time In Queens, as well as being a former MLB Pitcher, former MLB GM, and current co-owner of a real estate agency in AZ.
