Thomas Jefferson was an overachiever who accomplished some pretty major things in his life, wrote the Declaration of Independence, Secretary of State, Governor, Vice President and President.  But when your career maxes out, guys like Jefferson don’t just go home and retire quietly.  To keep himself occupied, he turned his energy toward creating a University.  An institute of higher learning that would in his mind, ensure that generations of citizens would be diligent, keeping our new nation strong and honorable.  The founding father who founded a University, Thomas Jefferson is on this episode of American POTUS!
