Gerald Ford wasn’t elected President, he wasn’t even elected Vice President!  But this all-around nice guy that everyone loved, just happen to be in the right place at the right time.  When Nixon resigned and Ford stepped in, he inherited a huge mess both at home and abroad.  So just a month after taking office, his first move was pardoning his old boss.  Something that was widely criticized then, but actually, may have been his greatest legacy.  The unelected President who helped the nation heal just when it needed it most.  Mr. Nice Guy, POTUS #38, Gerald Ford is on this episode of American POTUS!
