O holy Pope Pius,

you were a humble shepherd who longed to bring Christ closer to His people.

You opened wide the doors of the Eucharist,

calling even the youngest to the table of the Lord.

You rekindled reverence for sacred worship

and defended the truth with courage and clarity.

Intercede for us, that we may grow in love

for the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.

Teach us to hunger for holiness,

to seek what is eternal above what is passing,

and to follow Christ with joyful and faithful hearts.

May we, like you,

“restore all things in Christ” in our homes, parishes, and world.
