Praying the Lauds - Your Daily Christian Morning Prayer

LISTEN | Morning Prayer - September 05, 2023 | 22nd Week in Ordinary Time

How do you face your own demons?

Whenever we feel like or know that we are craving to do something evil, the only way out is to ask for help from Jesus Christ. He will confront and overpower the demons with much ease.

Let us today be comforted by the fact that Jesus Christ has power over all demons and evil. So, even though demons are real and powerful, they cannot harm us as long as we run to Jesus for help and invite Him to reside in our hearts forever.

COLLECT Prayer:

God of might, giver of every good gift,

put into our hearts the love of your name,

so that, by deepening our sense of reverence,

you may nurture in us what is good

and, by your watchful care,

keep safe what you have nurtured.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,

who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

The comes to judge the peoples with fairness.

God entrusts each one of us with the resources according to our ability. God is a creative God. He makes unique individuals. Understand and accept how God made you. Don't compare your self with others. Your very life is a gift from God. God believes in you and has confidence that you will manage his resources wisely.

LISTEN | Morning Prayer - August 31, 2023 | 21st Week in Ordinary Time

An interior habit of prayer means we are always praying. It means that no matter what we do each and every day, our minds and hearts are always turned toward God. It’s like breathing. We always do it and do it without even thinking about it. Know that the moments you dedicate exclusively to prayer each day are essential to your holiness and relationship with God. Being prepared this way will allow you to meet Christ at every moment that He comes to you by grace.

Have you ever met someone who speaks with authority?

Jesus Christ, help us not to become hypocrites. Help us to continue realizing that our words should be accompanied by actions that embrace the commandment of loving the Lord our God with all our hearts, soul, and mind and loving our neighbors as ourselves.
