  • Loving Yourself
When it comes to love many were taught how to love others however the one many most often neglect is oneself. It sounds simple to love yourself yet such can be very complicate. This can lead to having symptoms of depression, anxiety, relational issues and a low self esteem. Love is often viewed as an emotion. It can also be a noun, verb or perhaps used as an adjective. It is something that must be practiced as one must first love oneself first instead of loving the idea of waiting for other people to love you.
One can love oneself by embracing and accepting oneself including all of ones iperfection. When one love oneself life can become lighter and simpler. One will gain more stability and most of all can become happier.

  • Finding Scriptures To Fit Your Situation
When individuals are going through one often turn to their Bible as many was taught that the Bible was considered, " The Book Of Instruction Before Leaving Earth." Many also will practically run to the church house expecting to hear a word from the lord as they believe that they don't know what to do about their situation.
The Bible can be a double-edged sword and can piece the heart, However when stripped of its context and mangled it can be twisted in order to apply to ones particular situation or person. The the blade can become dull and ineffective.
I have often heard many Believer say they need a word from the lord. One can also obtain scriptures to address their situation. But what is one to do when the word is being watered down, misquoted, or altered to fit ones situation.
Join Pastor Daniel Estell and I as he discuss and provide biblical teaching regarding misquoted and misused Bible verses. If you feel like you are not hearing from the lord this could be why. When the word is stripped of it's context, then verses can be made to fit onessituation for which they were not intended. It may not have been done on purpose however, it can give a person false hope or understanding of what God intends for them.

  • Workaholism
Today many individuals are  honoring and Tcelebrating Labor Day. Labor Day is a day that was for individuals to pay tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers. It was created by the labor movements in the late 19th century and became a federal holiday in 1894. Labor Day also symbolizes the end of summer for many Americans. In the late 1800's at the height of the Industrial Revolution in the United States the average American worked 12 hour days and seven day weeks in order to make a living. This was despite some restrictions. In some states children even as young as 5 or 6 toiled in mills, factories and mines across the country, earning a fraction of their adult counterparts' wages.
As we can see even today, this is still a problem. It can also be said that given such we now have what is now called Workaholism. As many individuals may find it difficult to balance work, family, and self care.
Individuals can become addicted to many different things one of which can be work. Often there may be a cross addiction. One may also perhaps have an addictive personality. Workaholism can be dangerous. It is not always about money. Although you may finish a lot of work, you may endanger your marriage ruin your relationships with your children, get burnt out, and end up an early grave.
If you or someone that you love is working too much, you or your loved one may be a workaholic. Workaholism is destructive and seductive. The roots of workaholism is also often related to childhood. You don't have to be employed to be a workaholic.
There are signs symptoms. There is also help available. Examples include:
    * Feeling more excited about work than anything else in your life.
    * Taking your work to bed or on vacation.
*Talking about work more than anything else.
    * Working more than 40 hours per week.

  • How Do I Love Thy Enemies
While growing up in the church I mcan often recall being told that I was to love thy enemies. The problem is I never really knew what that meant as I did not see that love demonstrated within the church, in my home nor in my community. I can only speak for myself however I can recall my mother refering to individuals as evil doers. Then as I became an adult and engaged in conflicts with others I then even more confused.
Today we live not only in a society where many individuals do not get along. Then we go to church and find that individuals run into more battles with individuals with whom they declare as an enemy or a hater.
What makes an individual become ones enemy? Not everyone who is not a friend is therefore an enemy. An enemy can be considered an opponent. Their goals are opposed to out another. So what is one to do as a christian if we are to love thy enemy?
When it comes to showing love many struggle with that. If such is a problem with someone who we say that we love. You can imagine that it could be a bigger challenge with one whom we may dislike, have been betrayed by or have have been put in a situations where one may feel spitefully used. Loving our enemies is an ideal for human beings of any spiritual background. Join Pastor Daniel Estell and I as we provide information through biblical teaching as an effort to create peace, promote growth and let go of pain as one learn the art and benefit of how to love thy enemy. • Surviving An Adversity
Have you ever questioned why something happen to you or someone else? Have you ever felt that life is unfair? Have you ever felt that there are too many problems or situations staring you in the face? If so what you was dealing with was an adversity. Adversity is synonymous with a difficulity of misfortune. Many of us were taught to avoid such at all cost however such is easier said than done. Adversity is the force that shapes one for what is to come. An adversity can teach you to let go of what one may think is happening. It nudges one to have to stay in the present moment and face what is to come. An adversity may seem like an obstacle between you and your dreams. But it's more like walking into a pitfall with stepping stones or having fire balls thrown at you.
Our troubles don't define us. It is how we handle them that does. There are different types of adversities. Sometimes they feel like the curveballs of life. There are lessons that can be learned from an adversity. Ones coping style can play a big role. There are several feelings that come about when an adversity strikes i.e., feeling of defeat, feeling humilated, rejected and useless. The good thing is one can survive. Leaders learn from adversities and failures. Leaders grow through challenges.
Join my callers and I as we discuss how to survive and laugh at adversities. Live 8/27/18 at 12pm Pacific.

  • End Time Prophecy
For years I have heard individuals quote that we are living in our last days. Individuals, world religions and believers indicate that they believe that world events will reach a final climax. I can recall many individuals celebrating the end of 1999 as we entered the year 2000. There were many indviduals were on pins and needles.
With what we are witnessing, hearing and experiencing is the biblical rapture happening right now? According to the bible there are several signs indidicated. 2 Chronicles 7:14 reads: If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. We really need to stop playing.
Join Pastor Daniel Estell and I as we discuss this topic live 8/21/18 at 11:30 AM Pacific. I have heard it be said, If you are scared go to church. If you want to be saved go to church.. Ifyou want to be delivered go to church. If you want to fellowship go to church. Church alone can not will not qualify you to get into heaven. Personally, I want to be ready when Jesus come.

  • The Devil Made Me Do It
When temptation comes your way what is one to do? As a child a natural response would be, "I did not do it." Then there are teens that will flat out make others think that they are crazy. An adult on the other hand will say, "it wasn't me." The connection in all three responses is denial, the lack to take responsibility, and blame.
We as humans are creatures of habit. And in an attempt to avoid negative consequences blaming can become a natural response. Individuals often blame their parents, their situation, blame God and when things look really bad  the Devil is to blame.
Flip Wilson often said, "The Devil Made Me Do It." Did he really or did you give into temptation? As a Christian many like to blame things on the Devil. We must start to take some responsibility. Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee.
Join Pastor Daniel and I as we discuss the believer and temptation. We really need to learn how to trust God, take responsibility for our behavior and stop blaming the devil and others.

  • Church And Money
When is comes to church and money many individuals become turned off as soon as the see the gold plate of hear the word money.. Many individuals have a misunderstanding about what the church does with the money. And other have had bad experiences. Years ago the church was a place to go when one was in need. However, others have been disappointed or perhaps hold grudges which causes them to withhold their money. I can recall as a child listening to adults argue in the church about money as my mother entered a meeting uninvited trying to hear a Word from the Lord. That memory stayed with me for years.
All of todays churches are really not just about passing the plate. I say this because I can only spek for the churches that I have attended in over the past 25 years. I am aware that there are also some church leaders that consider offering like a Sunday morning stickup. There are also some religious leaders that believe that tithing is not mandatory for Christians.I have also witnessed pastors being the first person to put the money in the plate.
What does Stewardship means to you? Why do some members appear to be more blessed than others? Do you give your money to the church before you pay your bills? These are just a few questions that individuals have raised.
Join Pastor Daniel Estell and I as we talk about church and money. Paster Daniel Estell is also a business man with a lot of knowledge as it relates to the owning and operating a business. As Christians we must learn about the value of money for the Kingdom and for our home. God does not want us to be broke however many of us have bad habits and lack knowledge as it relate to money and finances.
Let talk about this issus. We all should want to prosphere and live in overflow. Don't let a perception of the church wanting your money keep you out of church. Live 8/7/18 at 11:30am. To join in on the conversation call 516 387-1914.
