I have all of these and believe we all should.  Head Protection is often overlooked but think about it, have you ever seen a S.A.R. member not wearing one? What about for Rafting? Hail Storms? Rain? There are many uses and time permitting, we will discuss.

This weekend, I went for a ride and was surprised at all the junk (prep items) i spotted along the road.  I promise, in a grid down situation, most of the stuff i spotted would be very valuable.

 

Also, as i was riding, I realized many items that would have been handy as a take along.  This is a great example of why we should practice or preps to see what works, what we don't need and what we should have always.

 

No history but lets talk about the world situation.

 

It's time to put America first and all be Americans.

 

Let's all pull together and be the Americans we all have inside of us.

Talking about Security/OPSEC/Communication tonight.  I would like to look at this from the perspecitve of your group.  All of these things will also apply in daily life and personal preps as well.

What do you need security for? You might need to secure your area, protect your family and supplies or help your neighbors.  What is OPSEC?  That is short for Operational Security, different from security of the prior topic it refers to having security measures in place about your operations. Can't I just call or text my groupmates? For now possibly, but keeping in mind OPSEC we might want to pay attention to how we communicate with others in our group.

Vest Carry, is it for you?

I personally love vest and believe it is a great way to distribute the load you carrying and allowing easy access to items you use or need often. There are many types for different conditions. I have several different types from every day, photography, concealed carry, and tactical. There are many materials, designs and colors for the different occasions you may be encountering.
