Jonas Masetti is a highly skilled and innovative teacher in the Vedanta tradition, recently recognized by the Indian Prime Minister as an ambassador of this ancient path toward enlightenment. As opposed to other traditions that rely on meditation, breath, movement, or other techniques to provide discrete experiences of what we might call awakening, Vedanta is a process of philosophical and psychological inquiry that Jonas likens to “spiritual therapy.” He is a teacher, but also an author, podcast host, father, and the founder of many non-profit projects benefitting vulnerable populations in Brazil, where he lives. He is currently in the process of building a new Gurukulam, a residential retreat center for learning and growth in the Vedanta tradition.
