As human beings we thrive off of our connection to others, it’s key to our survival. Those relationships can be with other people, but often our deepest connections are with animals. They comfort us in our darkest hours, make us feel safe, they are our primal protectors. But like in these stories, you never know if the one who is supposed to protect you, will turn on you.
