A Wellington bar which is popular with students is looking at introducing technology which would photograph customers and scan their IDs. This is part of a push by The Establishment bar on Wellington's Courtenay Place to improve safety, and thereby renew its liquor licence. City officials and the police are concerned about crime and disorder in the area which is home to dozens of late night venues.
