This week on PNN/EJR I will be talking about two garbage rulings coming out of what has been called–”the Trumpiest Court in America”--aka the 5th Circuit federal court. Manned by judges appointed by George W. Bush, and of course TRUMP–they have systematically attacked both free speech rights and the right to assemble–providing you are on the left–or NOT white enough. The 5th Circuit has also attacked the right to be “secure in our homes”--with the most recent ruling on police abuse during an attempted arrest. Apparently, if the police enter your home during hot pursuit of a suspect, (even though you are NOT harboring said suspect); they can get away with destroying your home and never have to pay restitution. 

 

That is story #1. 

 

Story #2 deals with a decision stating that protest leaders can and will be held civilly liable for violent acts committed by others–even if the perpetrators are on the other side. The implications for what should be constitutionally protected protest and other forms of peaceable dissent are grave.

This show ran last week, but Blogtalkradio somehow managed to delete the audio, so I'm running it again. Needless to say, we will be looking for another platform. I apologize to our listeners. I'm not sure if this was a 'glitch' or some not so stealthy moves by Blogtalk. In any case, I will NOT be silenced. 

The GOP has had a long term plot to destroy public schools. It began with the infamous Powell Memo, authored by the late Supreme Court Justice Lewis Powell. Seems that the GOP and the wealthy of this nation felt that we had an excess of 'democracy' in the United States, so that same GOP asked Lewis Powell to come up with a battle plan to drain off that same democracy. The GOP has been following that plan for decades and is nearly ready to destroy our public schools with glee in their stony hearts--and all in the name of 'freedom.' The plan was cooked up by a group called Ziklag and their ersatz top schemer--Peter Bohlinger. The plan is now in the form of a court case looming towards the Supreme Court. It deals with the idea of a 'constitutional right to educational vouchers--from our collective tax dollars.' I will discuss.

Our second story deals with an Idaho law that provides for a 14 YEAR PRISON TERM if anyone--including professors--fail to obey their government imposed CENSORSHIP. 

I will have a new episode of My Little Margie--our favorite blonde neanderthal, and of course our 'Jackass of the Week Award.'

This week on PNN, I am speaking about censorship in our K-12 schools, universities, and public libraries--all in the name of alleged 'parent rights.' The title of this week's show is "Free speech vs parent's rights--aka--democracy vs bigotry, reflects the ugly truth of the times. GOP conservatives have embraced open bigotry--now comfortable "saying the quiet part out loud." The GOP of Trump celebrates racism, misogyny, religious bigotry (including anti-semitism), homophobia, transphobia, and anti-intellectualism. They have embraced neo Nazism. They are the new Confederacy and Jan. 6th was the 21st century form of Fort Sumpter. I will talk about heroic teachers and moronic politicians. I will also speak to Trump's latest threats--including a death threat against retiring General Mark Milley--and anyone else who dared to criticize his majesty. 

We will have another segment of "My Little Margie" and of course the Jackass of the Week Award.

Shawn Fain is the present UAW president and he is directing the strike in strategic ways, but Fain wasn't always the fighter he's been characterized by the corporate press. Fain is, in my opinion, fighting because former UAW presidential candidate Will Lehman is nipping at his heels. Practically every strategic move Fain is now employing came from Will Lehman's playbook. Today we welcome Will Lehman to PNN/EJR. We will discuss the details of this labor fight that haven't been mentioned in the mainstream press. This is a special program.

Vivek Ramaswamy is the current GOP flavor of the month. Complete with both prep school and Ivy League credentials, he attempts to position himself as the anti-elitist. Some media outlets have called him 'Trump-lite' while others claim he has the Obama charm while pushing the fascist MAGA agenda. So, who is Vivek? How did he make his fortune? Is he a wunderkind or the academia version of the ultimate smarmy 'used car salesman'? We will discuss the deep dive research found on dear little Vivek, the millenial con artist. 

Our second story was recorded once before a few weeks ago, but it 'mysteriously' disappeared. This story deals with the REQUIREMENTS of the 14th Amendment, specifically the part that demands a politician, even a president, be permanently disqualified from ever holding office if they participate or incite an insurrection against the nation. Trump clearly incited the Jan. 6th insurrection and now evidence has surfaced that he was involved in the planning. I will also discuss the legal doctrine of 'willful ignorance.'

We will also have another installment of My Little Margie and our illustrious 'Jackass of the Week Award.'

The Marion County Record newspaper was raided by police a week ago by local police. There was no apparent legitimate reason for the raid, but a judge signed off on it anyway. Since the raid, major and small press outlets have cried foul, yet the damage is already done. This raid is merely the latest attack on a free press in the USA. Whether it's the bogus charges against Julian Assange or this latest raid, press freedom is moving closer to DOA status. I will discuss this growing threat. 

And we will enjoy the erudite stylings of a new musical parody group, Founders Sing.

The Biden EPA has recently approved a Chevron produced fuel ingredient that carries such a high cancer risk that it could cause cancer in anyone exposed--over a lifetime. This was reported by Propublica as part of their "Poison in the Air" series. Meanwhile, the corporate media focused on the 'horse race' between Trump and Biden--or on Hunter Biden's magical penis. The obvious disservice to the public is vile. This fuel ingredient is being touted by Chevron as a 'biofuel', yet it's made from PLASTICS. What the average person fails to understand is that 'plastics' are made from--guess what--FOSSIL FUEL. Still the EPA has approved this dangerous ingredient. 

I will also present the "Jackass of the Week" award, and we will enjoy the stylings of Randy Rainbow.

While mainstream media bemoans the hottest July on record, they fail to call out the cause--namely fossil fuel. Instead the corporate stenographers mention the possibility of environmental collapse, but the story is wedged between the Biden-Trump horserace and drag shows. Young people like Greta Thunberg are hitting the streets again to demand accountability and rapid change. They are arrested for their efforts. Meanwhile, political whores like Joe Manchin are racking up the bribes..."political contributions," as they push for more fossil fuel excavation. I will discuss this emerging story. 

Our second story deals with the systemic government censorship of our teachers. Both K-12 teachers and university instructors are facing dismissal, lawsuits, and losing their licenses over what IS constitutionally protected free speech. I will discuss how this story coordinates with the climate emergency story Apparently, the GOP wants to crack the whip over anyone daring to openly and vigrously discuss "divisive concepts."

This week on PNN, I will discuss the systemic child abuse and child reckless endangerment on the Texas border along the Rio Grande River, sponsored by Governor Greg Abbott. Governor Abbott ordered DPS (Texas Department of Public Safety) officers to push the small children and babies of migrants back into the treacherous waters of the Rio Grande River. He has also ordered troopers to deny small children any water in 100+ degree temperatures. Besides being an obvious and egregious human rights violation, Governor Abbott's orders could be interpreted as child abuse and reckless child endangerment. In spite of this obvious abuse, social workers in Texas--do NOTHING. No adult should be granted the right to abuse any child, and that includes governors and presidents. This rapidly evolving story is our first segment.

Our second segment deals with the revocation of laws forbidding abusive and dangerous child labor. The GOP of Trump has rushed to embrace child labor with no limitations. It is ironic that the GOP claims to be the "pro-life" party, while pushing such evil and inhumane policies. I will discuss.
